  1. THANKFULLY NOT
  2. hi fellas, it was reliable soul source-r who usually knows his stuff who posted said statement on facebook...I wont name him as he will put himself in the spotlight if he feels the need to do so. As I said on the LIfeline Look Back thread...I was surprised myself to hear it had been played at Wigan. But then, why not ? Surely isnt doing the track/record any harm. A great and rare record stays a great and rare record...More so, the fact that in case it really had been played at WIgan and still stayed under the radar for 30 more years only adds kudos to the myth of said 45 IMO. Personally I first heard said tune at the Soul Shakers Bamberg Weekender in 2008/9 via butch. Beside that..I think its a bit greedy of them Lifeliners to now have all three copies up there in Wolverhampton. Over here in Berlin we could do with at least one of them. LOL
  3. It defo is...I play the "So Tired" side...think Pomonky from NYC favours the other (more funkier) side ? Seeing you like the McGee`s I may add that I have a C/UP which I tend to play next to this Prelude 45 which indeed is AS good and very similar to it. Played it at Lifeline and it didnt clear the floor
  4. ..oh yes.
  5. very rare mate, very good ...and at 100 a steal to be honest. wouldnt sell my copy at all although I stopped playing it a few years ago. actually if I would have the money I would buy yours as a spare right now LOL awesome sound..

  11. And I still remember the night I first aired said tune for the very first time there...it almost blew the place apart same night tomm jay tender love was aired for the first time...not from me though although I had it with me...mr. minta had it with him as his new c/up. I have fond memories of the Hideaway Club.
