  3. Thanks, well must be good if its about Little Willie
  4. Sorry, which new (Kent) CD has been released with it, KING # 4 ? Must have missed it totally
  5. thanks guys!
  6. very much seconded...in fact I would love to see it as a new rule for posting sales to not delete the selling price once the item has been sold. Besides other effects it helps people who search in old sales for prices and price references.. Marc
  7. Did he, wow, how much was it ?
  8. Sadly sold all my copies of Guitar Slim I had, the flip "Mini Boogaloo" is actually quite well accepted over here. JM said a while ago he had some copies of Jimmy Philips tucked away, so maybe worth a try Flanny..
  9. Funny, like his sentence: "WOW !!!! SO THERE IT IS ALL THERE FOR THE TAKING AT A SMALL PRICE CONSIDERING THAT JOHN MANSHIP WILL BE AUCTIONING THE FRANK WILSON ON SOUL FOR A SUM OF 100,000 DOLLARS !" though.. Still I wonder where he got the 100.000 USD from as well as his very own starting bid..I mean if any unreleased Jobete acetate will fetch sums like that I am a nearly a milionaire without knowing...I think its all down to the Motown 50th anniversary "hype". Back to "DILYIID", just how "nice" it is to see it advertised! If he himself, Frank Wilson, still stands to his offer of 50.000 UKP I am sure thats what the 45 will make at least. Maybe less 100 UK for his very own writing on label LOL. Maybe certain American(s) will get involved as well in which case I could see this making even more. One thing I am almost pretty certain about...either way the winner won`t be living in Europe incl. Britain. Marc
  10. Sheer briliant. Take my hat off to you sir ! Marc
  11. Thanks Mulf, I think its still a fair price considering how seldomly you see one up for grabs and how many people have yet to hear it (for the first time that is).. Marc
  12. Hi Matt, a friend of mine has a Walter Jenkins in his "sales" box..he is coming round my place tomorrow for our weekly reocrd session, I`ll ask him to bring it. Can`t be expensive, mabye 15 I would have thought . Have some of your other wants and will pm you, Marc
  13. It is already "massive" ... here in Berlin ... out of interest how much was oyur copy as I was told my spare I was trying to selllast year in September was too expensive ? TIA Marc
  14. ...oh, and theres a Shirely Edwards right here by the way.. https://www.rarenorthernsoul.com/?gclid=CIv...CFVsA4wodDAP1tw
  15. First of all Richie, didn`t we had an agreement you stop begging people to end auctions before scheduled finishing time ? Second, since when are you collectiong Sixties again anyway my dear old friend ? Leaeve them alone for us 6ts afficianos LOL! Third and serious this time, I am glad it all worked out for you well in the end ! Marc
  16. Not better, just equally good
  17. Thats exactly what I thought when hearing the Cornelius Brothers..
  18. Well obviously "yes" as somebody is willing to pay that sum for it...to me it defo ain`t as I play the original and first -and to my ears equally good - version by The Cornelius Brothers which you can get for 10 USD Marc
  19. Oh, I think its quite catchy actually. I digged out said magazine and its in # 1, being reviewed for the flipside being an extremely rare and semi-known R&B track with a price tag of 300 UKP already seven years ago. TB believes that John Wesley/John Westley/Johnny Moffett are one and the same person...closer inspection of the 45 revealed that both sides are written by Moffet/Wesley....so if John W. was not looking to earn a doubled income from his writing they hardly can be one and the very same person, can they ? Marc
  20. The difference is the missing girls backing on the Canterburry release.
  21. I think you`ll find its much much more than 75/100 UKP. The last time I remember seeing it was when it was reviewed in Rare Soul Review six/seven years ago and without having said publication at hands from my memory it was something like 200 UKP plus.. Not saying so because I am selling one, as I donร‚ยดt have to sell it and will be happy to keep it. Marc

Well spotted my friend, I noticed the same..plus...no original company sleeves had been stamped back in the day...they all have been printed...plus...the logo in the top is not placed accurate as it is placed lower on the right side. Don`t believe that there have been ordered two different pressing runs with different label printings as well.. Marc
  23. thanks Fabsoul, cool and fab, got the remaining two in mint minus still though..
