  10. A good wax furniture polish can dissolve this type of adhesive, (pledge etc) leave for a few mins, test a little part of the B side label to see if colours lift first though , clean any excess polish off that may get onto playing surface with record cleaning solution, or mister muscle, again avoiding label, Looks like it was deffo done on purpose the Tw**.
  11. Fay simmons, a nice tune for 20 dump.
  12. [PETE £200 is a good fair price I disagree about the low price for the green issue as for every 10 blue you see 1 green?? DAVE
  13. I had a similar problem years ago with an old turntable, played most records under 3 minutes perfect, on other tracks a little longer it would stick towards the end of the track, found out there was a small spring on the underside of the tonearm, some kind of compensator/antiskate device but it restricted movement towards the end of the track, even when I pushed the tonearm towards the centre of the turntable manualy you could feel some resistance from the spring pushing it back, I stretched the spring a little very carefully with snipenosed pliers, problem solved on my tonearm. Hope this makes sense, he could try this by raising his tonearm with the cue lever and gently pushing the tonearm towards turntable centre to see if there is any restrictions.
  14. Is it misspelt ? No Ken here's another,

  17. My copy somehow ended up going through Manships hands, he had it on his site described as having a large felt pen circle on one side, in my dafter days (if that's possible ) I put this marker on to show it was mine, done on turntable whilst running so a very large circle, after martyns post I'm doubting my mermory a little now because i also had I Like to Party and this was defo red/white one side, red/blue the other.
  18. Used to have a demo of this, A side was red/ white with black text, B side was red/light blue with black text, hope this helps.
  19. No not a proper till, it's the one Arkwright had on open all hours.
  20. Muppets, on your pics you can see marked on back panel pre amp out, no speaker outputs, no internal power amp on that model, Simples. Pity the next customer.
  21. or you could use a nice pre-amp like the one you've returned, sorry Pete coudn't resist, Cambridge Audio used to make very good Hi-Fi, not so sure about their more up to date products.
  22. Yep been in there, mentioned him on another thread somewhere, true he does cheer up when you start buying though.
