It may remain unknown if we don't get to hear it,or have I missed something
  6. For me I don't think it hurts to have them signed on the label, I had the J. Mae, Steve Mancha (Clyde Wilson) and I managed to get Edwin Starr to sign under his birth name, though he wasn't too happy about that.
  7. That's a correct signature, get Brian Pinches to scan his Larry Wright Sweet sweet kisses for you, its my old copy that Popcorn sent me. I have a load of his signatures here on various things like xmas cards promo items, personal letters too

  12. What a great question Derek, never consider myself as a big time DJ but I did a bit so apart from the records I got free like Buddy Smith Larry Wright and so on I played things like Hello Stranger The Capitals, and The CODs Pretty Baby, songs that I think are equally as good if not so sort after 50 pence worth of soul

  17. Sad news that Ady, Harry was well known and well respected within the music business and was a very busy fellow, a lot documented and I think an awful lot of his day to day involvement has never been written down.
  18. Really feel for you two Dave and Val, your right its all about baggy trousers with buttons oldies and revivals. The guys that run them are raking it in, fed by a load of clowns attending them, playing the same 6 records they know and want to know, they will disappear as quick as they have landed. Hope the true music fans don't loose faith especially you two. Remember this, when one of those clowns says to you "Keep the Faith" tell him to fcuk off explaining that you and a small crowd of real soul fans have been keeping the faith for donkeys years Gilly
  19. It did have a small tare on the label but not exactly over the label name which was Lupin sorry I mean Lupine
  20. Funny thing a couple of years ago when I moved down here I had a letter asking me to visit the local opticians so off I went, now they keep the door locked and you have to knock to gain entry (bit like Detroit) you know the crack Tim you've been more often than me, anyway I knock and this lady opens the door ( iam thinking I will see what reaction I get to this ) on walking in iam stumbling about and feeling my way through the door frame. Well this girl is looking at me gone-out, she said " blimey is it as bad as that," "afraid so" I replied, "and god knows where ive parked the car" Well you should of seen the look on her face. Catch up with you one of the days Tim ATB Gilly
  21. Thought about putting that R
