Wade flemons veejay question
These were copyrighted like this, three months apart. Empty Balcony / Where Did You Go Last Night (Barrett Strong, Wade Flemons) (Both Copyrighted 12 Nov 1964) What's A Guy Supposed To Do / I Can't Get Away From Your Love (Barrett Strong, Wade Flemons, Chuck Barksdale) (Both Copyrighted 11 Feb 1965) That's how they probably should of came out but the demo mispress of Empty Balcony / Where Did You Go Last Night actually play Where Did You Go Last Night / I Can't Get Away From Your Love. As i've mentioned on here before i don't think the issue that is on 45cat actually exists. It looks like a low res photoshop job with cut lines. I've chased this record for over 20 years and have never seen anything other than a hand full of demos. It was first known and played on the scene when it came out on "A Taste Of Soul Volume One" CD in 1993 which states it was unissued.

Anorak Time......?
From Discogs https://www.discogs.com/label/1189798-Superior-Record-Pressing-Corp-Somerdale-NJ Superior pressings are often found with a "TC", "TVC", "ATN" or "TVCA" etch in runouts, which signifies plating performed at Tracy-Val Corporation, a separately-owned electroforming company located adjacent to the Somerdale plant. Please credit according to instructions found in the profile.

need help about these 4! tracks...
The one 14 seconds long is called "Evening Breeze" it's an instrumental on the b-side of Beverley Hills "I Don't Care Anymore" on Air Play Records.

Manship- Nov. 6th auction
I have the mispress. I've known of it for 20+ years and only seen about 5 copies. Two went cheap through Discogs which probably kept the price down. It's rarer than his Ramsel releases. It got a few plays on the scene when it came out on "The Northern Soul Of Vee Jay" CD. A catchy soulful track with a great sax break.

Kent Anniversary counterfeits or are they?
If the pressing plant that was dropped still retains the hardware, Father / Mother plates and stampers then they could press what they want when they want. Just 100 records would yield 10K-20K at todays prices. Edit: Same thoughts at the same time as above post by Chalky

Kent Anniversary counterfeits or are they?
From sales history of "The Classic Example" 42nd Anniversary record on Discogs, the one Ady mentions on his thread. 14/10/22 - Comments: From the Anniversary Night With The Special Mark on The 'B' Side Run Out Which Denotes It Came From That Night.

Kent Anniversary counterfeits or are they?
How would he know what's been bootlegged ?
-
Kent Anniversary counterfeits or are they?
If they came from the same factory using the same labels and plates they'd look exactly as legit ones.
-
Kent Anniversary counterfeits or are they?
I think i read on here that a few titles were over pressed at the factory and started to sell on Ebay and Discogs, not sure which releases they were. Ady was aware of it and reported it. Edit : Found the thread, here it is.

Will Hatcher You Haven't Seen Nothing Yet WHEELSVILLE versio
The original has the piano intro, it has "Superdisc" in the runout. Text is sharper than the reissue. There's also a green reissue with no piano too.

Velvet Satins original?
I'd say the first pic is a Bell Stamped original. Second one with the large runout is a boot.

Definitely unofficial Peter.- Classic Compilation Soul Albums with DJ Sleeve Notes
Jumping At The Go Go was my first soul compilation, then a load of early Kent Albums "Floorshakers" and "Footstompers" being the most memorable. Got "All Nite Long - WVON ✩ F.M. Chicago" at Stafford and could only dream of owning the originals as a teenager.- Song ID
