The Bobby Hutton track in Brian Goucher's top ten is called "Twenty Years Later". It's released in a week or two and can be pre ordered from Millbrand's website https://www.millbrand.com/selecta.html . I personally think it's great, and look forward to it being my first vinyl purchase of 2007. Happy New Year Tomo

  4. You can also find this on an original 60's album on Brent Records. Mainly Brenton Wood stuff but also has a few extras including Clarence Hill. Not that easy to find but it should be about a quarter of the price or less of the 45. Tomo Oops, Just noticed Cesar's post above.
  5. On each page you have 4 tabs, All Items / Auctions / Buy It Now / Classified Ads. Looking at Auctions only will get rid of all the Buy It Now items. It definately would be better to have a seperate section for these though. Tomo

  9. I'd agree with this. Newton Aycliffe is no bigger than an average size housing estate in most towns, yet the amount of soulies i've met over the years from there is staggering. It must be a town tradition as all the lads i know from there have been souling since they were school kids. Per head of population i couldn't think of anywhere that comes close. Tomo
  10. I had this on a tape for years, loved it and played it a thousand times. Got myself one after years of searching and as soon as i played it, i instantly knew it was a different mix. Dont have it anymore (wish i did) but from memory it also has a different intro. Dont know which is the first issue or which one is the rarest but the few i've seen over the years look like they have the same label. Maybe there's some difference on the run out numbers ? Tomo
  11. It's titled on your mp3 download when you play it. Mixed Feelings - Sha La La - United. Mega bucks and brilliant. Tomo

  17. Ted, When you right click and "Save target as" a box pops up with the file name and where you want to save it to. I've just tried it with the David Ruffin file and it's titled "Get video", just add .flv after the "get video" or change it to "David Ruffin.flv" then save it. Tomo
  18. Try this. It might look a little complicated but it's easy and you can grab anything in a few minutes with a little practise. https://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php Copy and paste the Youtube address into the top box then hit download. Then right click "Download link" and "Save target as" and change the extension to .flv , save it to your desktop or folder. Once you've downloaded your file you'll need to convert it. It tells you a few examples in the help section but i use Cinemaforge. Hope this helps Tomo
  19. Jewel Bass was the lead singer. It also had an original album release, as (i think) Centaura on Spiral. Anybody know the full details on the album ? Hard to price a 45 thats never up for sale, think Steves four figs quote would be about right though. Tomo
  20. It was an unissued track that came out on CD a few years back, on "Let's get it on" Deluxe edition. It was originally done by GC Cameron on his "Love songs & other tragedies" Motown album, mid seventies. GC's is actually a better version and has Marvin and Willie Hutch on backing vocals. Tomo
  21. Mac Davis -I'm just in love -Columbia £70
  22. --> QUOTE(mark.b @ Jun 7 2006, 03:58 PM) link I thought i put an answer on here last time must have been another thread i also sent this answer to manship but think he ignored me well he hates me anyway. according to rod shard the jesse henderson 12" is just the bobby cutchins remixed for the US disco scene. if rod reads this he may well confirm, got my copy out of king bee for 50p in the sales box. i have both version but i prefer the jesse version. mark I got mine from Rod about 10 years ago for £1.Think Paul Mooney has the publishing rights for the song, we were talking about this a few months back and he told me something similar to Girth's first post that it was supposed to be released on Lasso and was illegaly done on Land Of Hits. I'll make him aware of this thread and maybe he could add to it. The original question of "is it a worthy auction item" certainly not. Tomo
  23. One of my favorite artists. Heres a Peritone track that's never had the recognition it deserves, seldom seen or played out. Tomo
