The Older I Get The More New Stuff I Want To Hear
Great thread Richard and spot on - Northern Soul was the start for most of us, but now we're hooked on soul and hearing and finding new tunes - there will always be an oldie that takes us back to the place and time we heard it and rekindles great memories - but equally hearing a new tune for the first time at a venue / on a cd or on soul source etc can evoke an equally pleasurable feeling - the world of soul both common and rare is an extremely broad church and much the better for it!! Import Duty & Vat
I received a record today that had been posted from Lafayette in the States on October 15th - it was posted with tracking fortunately and myself and the guy that posted it to me have been following its progress around most of the USA with interest! -It eventually returned to New York for the third time and left on the 3rd of January to arrive today - must have been a new year resolution by US postal service to get it out of the country!! Worth the wait - Phillip Mitchell - Little Things at bargain price of 3 dollars plus 3 months shipping!!
