Recently won a mint contempo-raries copy on e-bay for 99p, so i was well happy as well.
The only other versions i know are by Ernie Andrews and Clydie King, unfortunately cant really remember the latter so cant remember if its male or female
Okeh version goes for about £10 usually, never seen CBS copy and i love Major Lance, might do OK i think.
Not really, mines a bog standard OKEH copy, knew it was released on Columbia as well. Sorry.
Baz, i would echo this, think carefully. Both great tracks but............The Al Scott, much better sound, record IMHO of course.

Yeh, looked at this only last night, got my copy from a car boot for 50p. Surely this is not £100+ rare even for original?

I have never been able to get on with James Brown. However, my oldest son who hates all my music likes only one artist from this genre-Mr James Brown. Typical :angry:
Their best Ballad, on Cadet 1973 is "My Pretending Days Are Over". Thoroughly recommended.
