  1. No Mike - Not for everything but I would expect them to have reference documents to refer to EG manships Guide! They just seem to be selective which means they are inconsistent with their approach. I have some signed beatles albums left from a big sale I did acouple of years ago -Thought I would put them on ebay along with 2 signed ACDC albums - They pulled the betles instantly but let the ACDC ones run the full auction time.If they thought The beatles were not genuine why did they think the ACDC were? Inconsistency and that applies to Northern boots as well.
  2. Well Done Tony- Its great to hear something like that ! It proves their is still some gold in them their hills!
  3. They do police it Mike - Especially where beatles / Elvis Stones etc are concerend
  4. I contacted Ebay several times but they arnt interested - The best one was Do I love you Boot (Eddie Foster) when I tried to tell them that this artist had never recorded it and it was originally recorded in the US on Soul records etc and copied and pasted the full story re FW they just went silent and refused to communicate with me. So they know that they are allowing illegal copies being sold on their site. Its the sheer deception I dont like and its bloody obvious - even the recent one with Bits & Pieces- how he blatantly put original but no mention of the Coasters whether a boot or orig! Why does anyone buy these today was a question asked - Dead simple! Back in the 70s it was the only way apart from a crap tape to get the tune to play at home or the youth club. Today its for one reason only - Its to have their 15 minutes of fame as a DJ because they are lazy and crap at DJing (Which to me is an art in Soul music and takes time and effort to get it relatively right)
  5. I agree with Bob - To me its an individual who has funded a record and may not even be registered with any of the copyright bodies.
  6. Too many moments to remember but it has to be Wigan walking in and hearing Ton of Dynamite for the first time -= Thats when I started my super fast shuffle to it! Think it was followed by Sam ambrose & Friends then Broadway Sissey - God I was sweating after those three.
  7. Pete Look at Manships Guide 5th edition it only says master plates for did I scare you Unless John Means for both - But He often repeats in other cases for clarification so I assume he would have done the same under the Silver logo for the Keep. To me its deffo aboot because of the sound quality Another thing - He on purpose puts original for the Bits & Pieces but no mention of what the Coasters is Orig? Boot? Why if he has gone out of his way to mention what the Bits N Pieces is!
  8. Doesnt say that in Manships Guide only about "did I scare you" - I remember Keep being booted at the time - No mention of master plates-Think it was done from an original as Im sure the sound is less quality than the orig _ Pete can you confirm this?
  9. Hes replied to me - His exact words Hi its definatly original the one with coloured nasco is the rarer one which sells for about £75. - £100 as per manship price guide ! Just thought of something 20mins to go - Should I bid on it to win - Then not pay saying it wasnt as described - Maybe that might make him wake up!
  10. Just sent him this message - Lets see what reply we get! You have this as an original - Is It? as I was told that the writing had to be coloured for it to be an original. Please confirm before I bid REgards Steve

  19. It books at 500 in Manships latest and is just another version of a classic song that to me is inferior to Adam Wades version or the version I prefer which is Peter Lemongello Which I have on a very rare local issue before Rare Bird label and is not listed in manships! I see another coipy VG- minus went for about 40 quid but if you like that version then obviously a bargain to yourself.
