He did the same with me. I haven't made up my mind yet as to buy it since I believe that he still has many copies. And I wonder how many other lower bidders were give that second chance offer... I'm kinda afraid this record will still pop-up a lot of times and will be obtainable for cheaper. Anything anyone ?

Does anybody knows the story behind the find of those NOS boxes of both copies and how many were found ?

It's on Jomada and not on Somada. I've had few copies in the past and don't remember such problems but for what's that's should be a part of it: that the bass saturate to a "garage" effect somehow when played with the 'low' (bass) full on on a big system.

Common, work some out ; N° 4401 to 44016 are that design and 1968... then go on - soulfulkindamusic.net - and you have it all !

There's been few times where some "boneheads" came in onto the "scenes" who were obvious fascists and racists. They were there looking for trouble. So I'd believe if you were not from pure "arian" pedigree, you'd be an easy target for such thugs. But that was for a short period, mid to late 8T's I'd say. They were floating around the scooterist scenes, some northern soul events and ska gigs. It's not peculiar to the northern soul as such and the fact that the northern soul scene was mainly a "white folks" scene, is rather natural figuring it happened in the UK. If it was in Johannesburg, I'd wonder like Craig. But not here. I believe that Craig has a rather short, false and pejorative point of view on the scene for what it's worth. Good and bad as it is.

Yes, black text are the 7T's boot/reissues. I believe they are legit somewhat like those styrene MID to LO-FI Arctic, Eric, CSP... (Epic) things (owned copyrights)...

Cody Black is Sooooo Goooood ! But maybe out of faZhion and so; nor good enough for the NowadayZ northern soulZ. It's not that rare anyway so most of the collectors are satisfied with it by now. Plus for most of the new DZ's it's nothing they should wonder I understand. Just rare and good like the Soul folkS dig IMHO.
