The Carpets Arr Credits On Show Me '45'
thats interesting, I knew about the Tommy Tate being on the Swift 45. Are you aware of any other discs by Tommy Smith and Derby's... their songs are all exceptionally good, just love that Kool 45.. Also, just so I can properly discount it, the VJ recording 'I Cant Win' is obviously a totally different group all together isn't it... Mal

Not Mad on much of Ike & Tina's early 45's, with a couple exceptions, I like this though, would have been a top 100 hit in the States surely?

Ten years of looking and I finally get a copy of this, how this Classic Cortland release from Chicago came out on W&G in Melbourne is beyond reason, they didn't release any of the groups other tracks, just this one...

Darrell Banks - Open The Door To Your Heart 2014 London
Remember at the Outrigger he had lots of DJ's, Harpo did one Dayer, Ted Massey quite a few, he would let you go through his 45's, and play them if you did a spot, Tony was never precious about them. thats where I first saw all his Cameo Parkway White Demos, obviously we all loved Evie Sands... Mal

when I visit lots of coffee shops in the Uk, I regularly hear Northern soul, Is getting spooky now as shops play it pretty much every time I'm in.. still I'm not complaining... its spotify isn't it, they all have a license I guess.. Starbucks coffee sucks though, it really is grit and water, dreadful stuff... Mal
