they exist.. but the Daphine was an early Yodi release, so before the orange / Yellow swirl series which the joint label manager Mark Swansa designed... Probably never came out but you never know...Gus and Alan could not remember seeing one.. m

I'd have to say Edwin Starr in Birmingham Q Club in the mid 9ts, you were there with me Derek, JJ and Steve mancha also sang but Edwin stole the show, they did 'Time', and he's at the front of the stage, bellowing this tune out with a sea of Brass behind him, everybody around me was static, but my legs were just going for it on their own.. I'd have to agree, I spoke to Sharon (and most of the Yodi collective) last year, as I did an article on the label for Shades of Soul, she is very very well as is Alan Merry and my good friend Gus Thornton, Sharon has also put me in touch with Daphine Williams which I'm really looking forward to hooking up with sometime this year....he is quite a character from all accounts.. somebody buy this track, its a killer!! Just on the collecting note, got a demo on both Sharon's tracks now as well as issues, has anybody ever seen a demo on Daphine's Yodi release? Mal.C.

I have to agree Pete, that particular ZZ hill track is horrible, but the Carstairs is brilliant in my opinion.. but there you go, its just the opinion of somebody who likes kikki Dee - On a Magic carpet ride!! Laughs Mal.C.

Been a couple for sale on here in the last couple months that kept coming up unsold when bumped if you get my meaning... and think there is a copy on evilbay just now.. Otherwise call shifty think he had one in with a collection he bought just before Christmas. Good luck! Mal:)

Until recently I always got my chips Friday afternoon and went over to Roger Stewarts shop, Boogaloo on Broardway near Fulham Broardway.. Great shop, now I'm working in Batersy I'm really missing it, I hope Roger goes on cause his shop is a little oasis with the Friday regulars, I've had some great tracks from him over the last few years.. Long live the few remaining record shops!! M

They are, Royal Esquires was a mega Rarity till a load got found, some guy in San Fransisco has a bunch and Funky Feet over here another load from the same batch. there is a track by Eddie ray i think which is a unreleased track they have for sale.. all great records, but then you know that.. mal:)
