Very true, I have sold loads of my collection in the last 4/5 years, lots left to keep me going, but having sorted everything out, as to what to keep, and what to sell, guess what? most of the records that make my 'liver quiver', and were to keep, were as we say in collecting terms 'Cheapies'!

I used to go to Summit in B'ham allot, Frenchie who was in this programme, was a real gent, really nice guy, and one of the original members of the Constructive Trio.. Don Christie's was a place to go as well, for early House imports, and reggae of course. good programme...

£150 quid mate, that's 5 beers, £10 entrance, a £60/70 quid record in your bag...and a bit of change...and bus fare home buggar the dancing, you can sit and gurn at the dancefloor all night for that money... * Have deleted the pic, it was making me wince...

Wow, thats allot of money, £550, Some members on here, some years back, really took exception me to stating this was worth allot less than was agreed on the thread, I cant remember how much, but justification came my way not that long after when I picked one up in a Glastonbury record shop of all places, not mint by any stretch, but for £60 quid. Really looking forward to this, has anybody mentioned, or discussed Simon Soussan appearing soon on the Charley YT Channel? Heard all the stories, bought loads of his pressings in the past, heard about the acetates he would send to the DJs at the casino, and the lush White carpets at his place in Leeds, I guess in the early 7ts, and of course the madness that ensued around records he sold, but never supplied... BUT, other than on Soul Train, I’ve never seen him in discussion, so this is to be an interesting interview... Had dealings with SS, love to know about it...
