Hi foilks, wonder if anybody has any recorded radio shows that played all thet great early group Harmony stuff? remember there being mention of 'Hy Lit, WSNI' cassets on a certain Lp you will all know that came out on Soul Supply in the 8ts, I'd love to track some down. I think that article started well, it peaked my interest, but the selection on Spotify was slightly at odds with the labels and tracks they were talking about. If your gonna push the brilliance of John and Wierdist and Executive Four you dont start your play list with PP Arnold and finish with the snake...

He's a big soul fan Ewen, used to chat to him in the Brighton Uni dark rooms about soul music and photography...he's a very good photographer...

Rememeber the 'Dream Team' 45s on Gregory that was played, and everybody got very excited about, then then a load turned up, and some folks got stung. I do wonder sometimes when things like this happen quickly, that there maybe some copies out there poised to come onto the market... and that is not Judgement of the seller and dealer, I would not in a million years say something bad about folks I know of, but dont know personally. But this happens...

Just buy what I like, and like what I buy...and that can be anything really, I do have a penchant for Aussie stuff but that only started cause I lived there a bit some decades ago... I have realised though that after all these years collecting, there are very few that had my taste in music, Martin who used to DJ at These Old shoes did, every time he bought one, or played one, he was spot on... he is a lovely guy Martin. I’ve never been a DJ, so I can’t say anything about that, but it must be very constrictive in that you have to have certain tracks... I guess they end up having two collections, one for us, one for them... lol What about that 'The Banks Brothers - Bring It All Back Home', Mark W just sold a spare of, very very cool record...

only one on that grabbed my 'OVER PRICE Filer' was Chandlers @ £844.. about 400 quid over what its really worth right? Its always about and was at £250 then 350 for years and years... I certinaly would not part with the best part of a grand for it... good deep flip though... As for Cressa, love that track, but Id buy her others ones for cheap... and feel genuinly pleased with myself :-) and we all love Lulu dont we? Cressa you are in good company 🙂
