  7. Had loads like that as well, Rob Pheasant always scratched his name into his collection 45s, he did a brilliant job of it as well...
  8. £280; Is that allot for a British Demo of Marvelettes? I know there are allot less Aussie collectors out there as apposed to British collectors, but I bought an Aussie demo of this for about twenty quid I think on here some years back... first run, and Red Bullet sticker... £750 for Ray Pollard really is silly though... Mal :-)
  9. Wow, my old copy of Edward Hamilton, did you buy that direct from me mate? Mal

  16. Nah, no one will agree with you on that one... its all great music though init :-)
  17. They are still out there, but slowly disappearing, I find stuff in far flung shops when I'm visiting places like IOW, Weymouth, places like that, I got some very nice uk stuff in a shop in Glastonbury 3/4 years back, sadly now gone... London is pretty crap now, certainly oxford street area, not what it used to be... charity shops have deals with local rock n pop dealers I find, so anything is worth anything gets creamed off, boot sales and markets are one place you can still occasionally find stuff, but let's face it, it's slender pickings... stick to the shops like Beatin rhythm, soul brother, soul jazz etc, as they do carry original stock, soul jazz is crap for Northetn btw.... The Diskery was always good when I lived in Brum, haven't been in years... I guess you will get good us originals, but it will be ballads etc, you probably won't find collectible northern I'd think not as fun as it used to be eh... mal
  18. Sorry folks, frankly it would be rudeness not to mention both sides of one of Margie Joseph's. Volt 45's.... putting never can it be first, as it has the edge, both sublime but then you know that :-)
  19. Final one for me...does it every time....
  20. Millie's version stands alone in my opinion
  21. Totally agree, sublime track theae too
  22. I had the Lp also, but sold it long ago, are those tracks on it ?
  23. When I got my copy of her Audio-Ent 45 from a dealer in San Francisco, on Haight street, he mentioned this 45, and that he had been speaking to Carrie.. btw He told me Carrie hated the Audio - Ent 45, she didn't like her vocal on it, bill Cleveland is her husband as you can probably guess... as for your track what's it's like, I've never actually heard it..
