    it was actually my copy for sale,i sold it to john,so he wasnt auctioning it for someone else! there is no doubt it is very rare,it is the same group as 'job opening' and i would say a hell of a lot rarer than the queen city release,however job opening is 100% northern soul,and in everybodys top 10,'out of the incrowd' is a good tune with great production,but it falls in the bracket of 'neither here nor there' i sold it cos i was simply bored of it,but i would never have guessed it would achive 3k it is probably rare because it seems to be a one off label,and i wonder if it was a promo release because the b side has a very odd instrumental,which seems to have no place on any record...very odd! on a similar topic of whether it justifies the value,i wouldnt have believed the sandy golden would hit 8k,this dellarks 45 is rarer than that,and neither records are spectacular in any way....so WHO KNOWS! also i thought the lead vocal was the guy who sings ' the grinch'...haha

  6. i must admit a never realised the sax break was shorter on the rouser copy until i heard it,and when your used to hearing the fairmount version,the rouser version seems a bit half cut! still a nice thing to have though!
  7. im to understand that the blue issue has been reissued/booted...how can you tell the difference? however i believe the white demo hasnt been booted...is this correct? thanks guys ps what a bloody tune this is....it looks and sounds like something you pay a fortune for,but its cheap as chips!....beggars belief!

  13. i cant believe ive never heard this before!..bought it blind for a fiver,it looks rare,it sounds rare,but i doubt it is rare! but this tune ticks all the boxes for me,just been playing it really loud,and this record should be a MONSTER!

    yeah thats it...it actually went through twice...first time for a hell of a lot of money...and then relisted and got around £400 i think?

    the so called original inspirations acetate recently went through the bay! but i would sell the house to have the original on breakthrough...oh and thats a great pic...i can boasting owning one record on there at least!

  24. just seen grier bros-weeping baby end at $535 i thought this was a £100 to £150 record...if your lucky? good tune,but a god awful recording ebay is getting bigger prices than jm's lately,wonder if that will filter onto here...haha
