Just you the last 4 or 5 I have received have been like the bloody krypton factor to get in to. The record box that finally arrived from Tasmania after 3 months at sea took me about half an hour to get into. QoFxx

I realise you weren't thinking of DimWit Promotions and similar types of dos .......................but love them...how well do you really know them, I recommend some proffesional help:lol: QoFxx

I know exectly what you mean on this one, never more dissapointing when you have chosen a venue for the first time, drive a couple of hours only to find the bar shuts at midnight. Or as you say if there is a do on that finishes early i.e. 12 you can always plan to go on somewhere after if you want to, without having to leave while the night is in full swing. I know Martin hasn't put a finish on Blue SKies for the 11th but I think as it is a small pub do and starts very early (6pm) this is acceptable and I only hope it finishes earlier this time as I have a party to go to on the Saturday , rolled out at 2am last time, it ws a very long night and trying to drag Martin off the decks and out of the door proved a little bit of a problem and we weren't the last to leave, the "suits" were still partying Our local Pub NYE do was advertised as "till late" again only a small pub do and it is usually the same crowd every year and the bar will stay open as long as people are drinking on NYE and it would be impossible to put a finish time on this because if you put a finish time of say 2am and the crowd thin out they would find it difficult to shut the bar earlier.............but it's never happened yet . Listened through it again on and off today while at work, it certainly helped me get through a very boring day QoFxx

Listened to the show yesterday afternoon while nursing my hangover....thought he did a great job and it was a very listenable show The constnt KR/Goldsoul plugging was a little irritating but apart from that it did what it said on the tin QoFxx
