Archiving Your Vinyl Collection
Personally. I'd recommend recording them in stereo, I do with mine, and was recommended to do so many years ago. I use "Cool Edit" a very user friendly program. steve

Maurice Williams Being Without You Info On Maroon Press Boot/second Issue
coz the Nashville stamp so looks like "mains" not "matrix" at times. The r and i in the hand written font looks like an n and the t looks like an i, think it's fondly refered to as "mains" now. One thing I do know, when it comes to anything stamped in a run out groove, Solidsoul's ya man also, talking bout Maurice Williams, anyone like the A side, "Baby Baby", now that gotta be a "shag dancing" classic? steve

Jimmy Delphs - Almost (Karen & Carla)
The Karen release is march 68 (according to delta number) would have thought Carla first? but my copy is vinyl. prefer it on Carla for the excellent flip "I've Been Fooled Before" maybe "Almost" was the B side in one or both cases? also agree with above poster, I prefer Betty's take myself but that's just coz it's Betty! steve

The Superlatives - Won't You Please - Dynamics 1012

The Superlatives - Won't You Please - Dynamics 1012
same as mine Robb, that's mine on the youtube clip, only seen black copies. am i right bout it being an Archer pressed record, I remember reading somewhere that "95" was Archer's account number with nashville when he used them to make stampers for him? re The Eldees, I see that's got a "nashville" stamp and a "music city" stamp? steve
-
The Superlatives - Won't You Please - Dynamics 1012
this one only came out on Dynamics I'm sure? Two of their other Dynamics 45's were picked up by Westbound, that "nashville matrix" stamp is right, also on the 45 is the number "95" etched in, that's Archers account number with the nashville plant, think Archer used them for some of his plates during the 60's? steve
