  1. Yeah I'd tend to agree, I'd imagine there'll be an awful lot of "non-Trophy" records which would be hard to resell.....in todays climate. Was discussing a large collection at Lifeline with Dave T, and that one had loads of multiples of LPs etc....we both agreed you couldn't give most of em away
  2. Yes he did - Issue 4 I think, he listed all her records as Ty. Steve
  3. Same thing went on in Blackbeat early - mid 80's; the letters page there made B&S look like a Parish magazine.

Mines purple but I always thought it was a boot?
  5. ....and there are those that like one style of music, and those that like more than one style of music....
  6. The thread has turned into a predictable Levine Good / Crap. All I want to hear right now is the "My head in the stars" track. Soundclip pleeeeeezzz, thks
  7. Don't think I know it Neil? Presumably it was after Doomsday then?
  8. ...and the B side is great deep soul too....oops nearly forgot it's not fast enough
  9. I agree, think the blue ones were mass imported I guess, Steve
  10. As "Be nice to Russ" week is now over, I can agree - it's certainly as bad as anything Russ played. Must admit didn't realise that Mr V was behind Cat Eyes either - always chalked that one "down" to Russ.
  11. Original is on Nite Life This looks like the sort of thing you used to find in Russ's Records booth at T'Casino for £1.25
  12. It bloody did - for the last time Pink first blue later. ANyone that says otherwise is not correct . VJ went bust and NuVJ was a reincarnation, but it still came befofre the relaunched VJ (International) in 75. Steve
  13. Agree. top toon.
  14. Deltics weren't introduced in 1954 - if you're gonna talk trains etc etc
  15. No, you've won a brand new anorak

Nice one of him in Las Vegas there! There's also a great one of him at 100 Club which Pete S posted up some time ago.
  17. Sorry but no Sean - again pink first, blue second. Steve
  18. Only got em in varying conditions vg- etc....would only sell as a job lot, not individually
  19. Sorry that should be 27th - My mistake
  20. All I can say is you have some very odd customers.....in the old days we'd ring up for 5 records off a list and were sometimes lucky if we got one. Never heard of "I must have all 5 or nothing" Weird.....What were they Thunderbirds Vol 1-5 or something?
  21. I'd agree
  22. If anyone gets a spare cheap let me know please
  23. Exactly my point. Though you wouldn't need to give them away now Ian.
  24. I don't think you can blame that one on Russ can you? Anyway it's the 37th Anniversery of the annual be nice to Winstanley week in my house.
