  1. That's it - not tons of money though.
  2. It gets played occasionally (by me) though it's not on South Camp I'm sure Orange label Jenmark or something - anyway the same label as "Sunday afternoon" Dennis Lee & The Notables and a few other things.
  3. It's disappeared I am sure it will come back when Mark B has visited it and reposted on the forum. It was all about an exhibition of W.C and N.S, and I remember something about Winstanley trying to organise such a thing a few months back. Hope you are well and up for " Essence"
  4. Got it 2nd hand actually off ebay for £16 or something like that. Can you post on the Wigan Casino exhibition site thread please - just want to see your "Car Park get over it" sign off on that thread Gav
  5. Is this the thing Russ was organising?
  6. Steve G posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
Anyone see how much this went for?
  7. Yes excellent time with an excellent crowd!
  8. 3307 - the higher numbers are rare methinks
  9. Don't think they've done one for 2-3 years now

I've asked if he'd consider taking my Al Williams on Labeat as part payment for this extreme rarity
  11. Why such a buzz on such a naff record??? It was viewed as naff in the 70s as well and no discerning DJ would darken his/her box with it even back then . Frankly would leave it where it was in a boot sale
  12. Only I know the full extent of the chaos, and my lips are firmly sealed .....suffice to say it all started with a broken belt and then the handles on the bag carrying the mighty record box broke....and that was pre check in at Stanstead Anyway we had a great time and I sent him on his way back to N Wales on Monday morning... Brian I'll PM you links to some photos, so the old boy can see what he got up to next time he's round yours......also please tell him we have his trademark "cap" in Cheshunt (he left it behind) - will bring it to Prestatyn Friday Steve
  13. One in Cheshunt, One in Hatfield now then
  14. Let's hope Sam was able to dig the car out this morning then....he's supposed to be round my gaff at 7.
  15. Jees that is a lot. It is pretty damn rare though. For a long while there were only about 3 copies, think a couple more have turned up since....but still as 'ard as they come. Will be in Pete's all time Top Ten I am sure of that!
  16. Nice example which shows the true grubbiness of 60's paper 40 years on.
  17. Fab Tears were Little Dooley's backing singers btw - a mine of useless info sometimes. The guy may have wanted 5k for the Tommy Tate he didn't get anything like it in the end. I am sure I have seen a further one on ebay more recently.
  18. You bought it you tell us the story Sean But worth mentioning Motown NY did use Bell Sound acetates occasionally
  19. I bought it a couple of years back, and was wondering if anybody had seen a copy such as this before. Of course we know it was enver given an official 45 release at the time and has only popped up on bootlegs under the cover up name. This has some interesting info on it, any experts that could point me in the general direction in terms of value and such it would be much appreciated...
  20. Steve G posted a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
Label named after the area of St Albans?
  21. Not got the technology - if all else fails come to SouL Essence
  22. Chris will these be specific "crossover" sessions as such? Not being cynical, just searching for a bit of clarity.....i.e. are they billed as crossover sessions or will they be general mix it up non-northern sessions with Trace of Smoke, Mixed Emotions, type sounds etc ?
