This Guy Is A Marketing Genius
Fletcher Walker III, a nice record to own, https://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140759437437+#ht_500wt_953 but then checkout his popsike link here. https://www.popsike.com/Crossover-Soul-FLETCHER-WALKER-III-Guess-IllHEAR/360305237378.html now check the prices on every other one here. I think the mean value of this is a tad misleading to say the least, even though Manship has it in his rarest. https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?pagenum=1&searchtext=Fletcher+Walker&incldescr=&sortord=dprice&thumbs=&currsel= Genius marketing, Cheers ears Aid.

Wigan Dance Competition Winners
Any one remember Chris Hurley? Sure he was a finalist or maybe even won, he was from the Warrington crowd (although he was a scouser originally), top top dancer, one of the best i ever seen at Wigan anyways. Was a good mate of ours, not seen him for years & years though. Aid.

Who's The Seller?
He has some nice tunage for sale. Buddy Smith, Cavaliers, Belita Woods, Fantastic Four O'Jays. Do you think these guys just cast a big net & sieve out the goodies are they know exactly what they are looking for? Always wondered about some of these sellers. Aid.

Who's The Seller?
He may well be Dave, I just I've not seen him before, then again that doesn't mean anything. Aid.

Who's The Seller?
Who's the seller from Detroit called waynewisner with the Buddy Smith? Anyone use him before? He has some lovely discs for sale. Sometimes amazes me that some of the U.S. sellers certainly know their market so well. Aid.

Northern Soul Tracks You Have Heard On The Telly
Remember this at Wigan, covered up as Jealously, nigh on impossible to dance to, unless you'd had shed full of Riker. Aid.

On Top Of The World - The Stafford All-Nighters Podcasts
I'm loving the podcasts & the you youtube links from soul echoes, The Tempests is just sublime. Unfortunately I missed this entire period completely, have retired after Wigan (before the end actually), got into football & beer, but the music broken here sounds just great. A friend of mine & collector (Jeff Boardman from Warrington) had his best days here he always reckons, I think he may be right, looks like a golden period. Aid.

Rip Donna Summer
I Feel Love was years & years ahead of it's time & single handily influenced a generation of music production. It certainly influenced me when i first heard Mr Levine & Co spinning the 12' at the Ritz all dayers long before it hit the charts. The girl from Boston was a class act RIP. Aid.

In Fear Of
I was never into that Wigan uniform thing, I'd moved on by the late 70s, most were like sheep & would wear anything to conform to the scene, for me it had stopped being cool by then. But earlier on, when I was a whipper snapper my older brother & his mates all got their trousers taylor made at Hepworths or John Colliers (these are the days long before those stupid Spencers mail order sails from the back of Black Echoes etc), now those taylor made trousers were cool works of art in my mind, from memory, probably 14 inch parallels, tunnel loop, ticket pockets, buttoned back pocket flaps, zip waste adjusters, sometimes sewn in pleats, all kinds of little add ons just to make them exclusive, I used to look at them in awe. Aid.

Guilty Pleasures
Thats the very same show I'm talking about, yeah, Nick Cowan guest spot, had about 10mins a week & was the only radio exposure of Northern that you could here at the time, used to record it on a cassette too. Happy days indeed. Aid.

In Fear Of
I agree with the original poster, what's all that about? It's 2012, lets move on, nothing more sad IMO than some middle aged bloke, spinning with a pair of wide soul bags & a vest. Move on, its not cool, its detrimental to the scene. I was wearing drainpipes & pointed shoes at Wigan in 1979 (I admit with a black F Perry), I was making regular trips to South Moulton street & Browns of Bond Street to get my clobber at that point, ahead of the game as usual. This is before I got in to footballl terrace fashion. Wigan fashion was cool in 76, three years later..........very very uncool. Aid.

Anyone Ever Get Anything Nicked At Wigan
Those Coke bottles were a work of art, real glass, twisted at the top end, I'm serious too as I work for Coke now, I realise how good those bottles actually were. Aid.

Lafayette Vaughan First Degree Love
Cheers Dave, helpful that. Not a lot of info about on the www either. Just love that tune. Aid.

Lafayette Vaughan First Degree Love
What's this stunning soul track worth? Got it on a cd Detroit Soul From The Vaults Vol 2, I've ripped my whole my cd collection to disk & then got rid, so got no album sleeve info, doh!. Humdinger of a soul record IMO. Any info?? Not on Popsike or Manship guide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frR3QFEL56A&feature=related Aid.

Ebay Insanity

Top Album Only Tracks
Theres a blue eyed album by Tina Mason I like called You Go Your Way, I think some of those tracks never got cut as singles, long time since i heard it to be honest, I know she did Finders Keepers on a single but pretty sure some other good stuff on that never got released. Aid.

Comedy Sale Of The Day
