I agree it doesn't make sense, like I said I'm just retelling what Eddie says and if he replies and gives a reason I will pass it on.

If this is taken from a Palmer release then the fault lies in both releases.... It actually sounds more profound on this one than the one I listened to yesterday.

But if it is a fault in the mastering, unless Palmer re-mastered then the fault will be in both releases would it not?

I've e-mailed Eddie to see if he can remember why there was only three. I'm only retelling what Eddie said to Kev when Kev showed him his red issue. It is quite possible they simply did a sample press if preparation? I've no reason to doubt Eddie either he seems to have a pretty good memory from his early days. I would have thought if a full run of issues had been done the odd one or two more would have turned up as it was obviously very sought after and everyone here and in the US knows its rarity and value.

Didn't Palmer use the same master?

No I've wondered the same myself, if not a jump it seems to miss a beat.

As said Kev has an issue, one was sold on ebay last year or two.Dunno about the other. Harry, why there was three I don't know, I'll ask Kev when I speak to him if Eddie elaborated.

There were only three red issues done, that came from Eddie himself who told Kev Murphy when he came over.

The pound sign should have been a dollar sign.

It's been on ebay before, demo and issues. Don't think I'd pay more than £2.5k/£3k for a minter. I wouldn't buy one with two cracks. VG- with two crack and £1700 already, do people not care about the quality of the 45 or is it a case of look what I've got? A linbk would be nice as well: https://www.ebay.com/itm/AL-WILLIAMS-GREAT-DETROIT-NORTHERN-SOUL-45-LA-BEAT-6602-LISTEN-TO-BOTH-SIDES-/221202786434?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3380b6a882

Prophets "suspicion" Valuation Help Please
I can remember sorting the last of them into packs. I think there was three or four full sets and then ran out of Suspicion. £50 for a pack I think? That would be about ten years or so ago.
