  2. Think what he is saying is all copies are issues or stock copies. Was there any demonstration copies or Disc Jockey copies? Who actually played on the session?

  4. Richard Searling still up there as one of the best ever and if he is sourcing new more upfront records then I can't wait to hear him. Hopefully he will come and do Lifeline in the future.....Butch, Andy D, Mick H, Sam, Cliff Steele, Richard Searling....drooling already
  5. What would be a good guide is if sellers didn't delete their prices in Sales on here when they sell a 45. If sellers left the price you would have a fab searchable database of prices.
  6. All Brown Door in quantity? I've never seen many Promatics over the years, only one for sale of the slower take.
  7. I doubt she got anything in the way of royalties from that one it there is one Mick!
  8. it depends how much server space they have i guess. They might be creating room?
  9. I can remember the review on wittertainment from Mark Kermode and it sounded like a cracking documentary/film. Will look to get the DVD
  10. popsike has loads of stuff missing, both cheap and expensive. I use it for reference and for scans but last place I use for a price unless I'm stuck. I'd sooner ask on here, far more accurate for current day price.
  11. a couple of them became Dawn I think for Tony Orlando.
  12. Has Andy Whitmore been mentioned? He is King of the 70's IMHO. Had many of the big ticket stuff before anyone else and also knows his album tracks as well.
  13. It's simply the progression of a topic, different opinions and views lead to further discussion, its what happens on a forum. Lighten up
  14. We asked RS to do Lifeline but he declined. Whether he will be up for it in the future, again we can only ask.
  15. I'd also like to see a stand alone boot guide.
  16. I have to agree with you Tezza in that many mentioned either no longer have the records or the collections and others wouldn't last two minutes at an all-nighter. I don't know what world some live in but anyone playing modern or crossover by and large wouldn't go down well at an all-nighter, regardless of the fact that the records they have are excellent but just wrong for an all-nighter. Some might go down well in a side room playing to their mates or 30 or 40 people but large room definitely not. It would be nice if we could get back to one venue playing across the decades but it will never happen. Lifeline is probably the closest and we struggle these days when we stray too far from the 60's, todays nighter goers just don't want anything other than 60's, that is the reality of today's scene. Many mentioned seem to be favourite DJ's or DJ's who play to their taste, not what is needed at an all-nighter. I also think we sometimes get too wrapped up in "named" DJ's. It shouldn't matter really as long as the DJ has some imagination, can put a set together and brings something to the table that isn't already on offer.
  17. I'll give that a miss thanks Bob If no joy with iTunes you could always try something like Feedburner which I find pretty good.
  18. will download both when I get home Bob, cheers. Did you ever look into iTunes or RSS Reader, would get the new uploads automatically then.
  19. Lighting wasn't good to start with but once stage lights were turned on it improved 100%. I was surprised the sound quality on the videos so good considering I was stood at side of speakers
  20. why not add some to the discussion then?
  21. Just looking on line they have released King Moses "I've Got This Feeling", Norris Vines "Give In" and Sweet Inspirations. All out of Toronto. Just tried their website, unregistered domain or summat.
  22. just listened now at home and as far as Wigan type instrumentals go not bad but wouldn't want to hear it out nowadays to be honest. Thinking about it doubt Lou would have anything to do with it?? Supposed to be a legit Canadian label reading on the net.
  23. At a guess it came from Lou Barretto who release Gloria Jones Gone With The Wind recently via Soul Purpose (Phil Dick's label I think). Don't know who is behind Soul Tribe though.
  24. I was referring to the charges the ticket agency add on Steve for nothing next to nothing. I have no issues paying £20 to see an act, particularly if they have a good back catalogue like BM does. I'd love to go and see her but with fuel and having to take two days off work I somehow doubt it. Why they don't schedule these shows for the weekend when the chance of ticket sales is greater is beyond me.
