  2. Don't know if this has been posted, not followed every posts but an excellent cheapie with some legs in it....
  3. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Record Wants
The Originals is unissued, any out there are bootlegs. I think the boot on the look alike Soul label with instrumental on the flip is the bit faster first take that was played. I'd have to listen again though to be certain.
  4. Sounds how I remember it to these ears but I'll have to compare with the 45 when I get home. Vocals might be slightly different, added extra bits at the end of some lines.
  5. Think this topic has had its day in the sun and will now close as per procedure regarding Event Articles. If wish to discuss this further can you please use the event topic ....
  6. Play the cd.....it's the original format. What's the point spending nearly £30 on a cut? You can buy more vinyl or CDs with that.
  7. The very fact this is being discusse and a topic raised shows it has some relevance at least by some members think so. I might not agree with this or many other topics but as long as it is discussed in an adult manner, without the prejudices and juvenile behaviour shown by one or two then it shouldn't be a problem.
  8. I went to a venue last year and there must have been 20 copies for sale in the room, one seller had more than one copy.
  9. Two infantile posts removed, better is expected form grown ups. Please keep this topic civil and knock the innuendos and juvenile postings/comments off this site. Not needed or wanted.
  10. Seen loads of copies of this about lately, issues and demos, what is the going rate these days?
  11. I have all the SOS and I'm going through them for some research. If I see the article I'll scan and post it.
  12. I can see where coming from with the Doug Banks but sounds a bit too white for Doug??? Could have done with hearing the chorus.
  13. maybe bit more than I thought, last two (only two) popsike 1348 and 1062 dollars. Record that's always struggled with the dancefloor mind.
  14. think they were vg Joan, would have thought 600 or so for one in decent nick?
  15. Mp3'd removed as per site rules. Sorry but we cannot allow mp3's, legal & file sharing being the main reasons. Can I suggest members sign up to sound cloud, it takes just a couple of minutes to upload the sound file, you then click on share and grab the link to post here.
  16. Think the last couple I'd seen were around £400, don't think either were mint.
  17. Cindy Gibson possibly the rarest?
  18. Not everyone can get everywhere every week Russ, I know I can't these days. Last 100 Club took a week to recover We do have venues up here that weekend also. There are also other venues and DJ's discovering new stuff you know
  19. yes but is it really all "that" rare? Seen enough over the years.
  20. Can someone make a note of what he plays on the night, be interest to see what unknowns (and if they are unknown) he has got in such a short space of time and how good they are. Love him or hate him, he is good for the scene, he has an imagination and he doesn't follow trends like most of the DJ's and he always gets people talking. I will close this topic as per normal procedure regarding Events Articles in a day or so and you can then discuss Ian's return on the actual event topic. http://www.soul-sour...r-aats-closure/
  21. Off topic posts removed.

  23. That was cheap as well Ted IMO, dunno why you sold it, got lots of life in that one. Rate it twice what you sold it for.
  24. I realise that I could have replied to three or four but yours happened to be the last one I read who were in some sort of disagreement and my reply was more a general reply
  25. Cornelius Dwyer - Steppin Too fast - 20th Century Fox, one of the rarest on the label.
