  2. That was cheap as well Ted IMO, dunno why you sold it, got lots of life in that one. Rate it twice what you sold it for.
  3. I realise that I could have replied to three or four but yours happened to be the last one I read who were in some sort of disagreement and my reply was more a general reply
  4. Cornelius Dwyer - Steppin Too fast - 20th Century Fox, one of the rarest on the label.
  5. Tommy Tate on ABC...only know of two copies over here...... Stormie Wynters on Mercury
  6. Patrice Holloway - Stevie also on VIP and also rare as hens teeth....
  7. Life's a bitch as they say!! There's in all probability more than just Soul Source members who have seen any particular item, you don't know how many are watching and the counter isn't always on the ball. It is a world wide market as you are well aware. We've had this discussion before and it would be inappropriate for one member to tell another to stop talking about a particular listing on evilbay. It is a discussion forum about all things Soul and ebay and any other auction site for that matter fall under that umbrella. People who seem to be against talking about ebay don't mind talking about other auction sites so why should ebay be treated any different?
  8. Think theres a few more than folks realise. Still bloody rare though.
  9. I agree to he could have given the condition etc at the beginning. The scan gives a totally false impression. But having said that it doesn't sound too bad for vg-/vg, I've heard far worse vg+ and ex condition records. It should sell easily me thinks.
  10. I've no problem Steve, it isn't as though they are a secret, they auctions are in the public domain. It is a free world regardless of what some might think.

Like you Nev it never ceases to amaze me how we go from talking about one record in particular to the presumed downfall of a venue(s) because of one persons assumptions of the music policy.
  12. old Stafford spin for Keb. I played it NYE, always someone coming to see what it is.
  13. Off topic removed

That would be mint plus 20% vat.
  15. One look at the bidding and it's plain they've had too much sherry over Christmas.
  16. I thought the whole show was really good. Nice to see some proper musicians/bands for a change rather than the usual Simon Cowell dross that is taking over the charts.
  17. Just watching now. Ruby Turner brilliant, Betty class act as was Cyndi Lauper.
  18. Two topics merged. Might be a free plug but plenty others use this forum for a free plug, he does also have something worthwhile to offer. Lou did ask a question as well.
  19. just added a third and final podcast which just about covers what Gary Rushbrooke played at Stafford (give or take a record or two). 20. Cecil and Jerry Williams, both fantastic Northern Soul from different eras, why choose, why not just listen to both and appreciate for what they are.
  21. reckon that's what it is with half the arguments about played here or there first, a wind up, some just take it too far.
  22. Leo Price - Hey Now Baby

Duke Browner, depends who is selling, anything between £250 and £400 depending on condition, bit more for demo which is rarer.
