  1. I think it was Pat Wallace on here who had one and one the JM auction topic he said it didn't sell. It probably has now but worth giving him a shout maybe.
  2. JM no. 5 guide Original... matrix reads A-72869-13 with a scratched virtue directly opposite. 2nd press (legit?).... matrix reads A 7Z869 - B points to note in the matrix are the 7 resembles a reversed F and the 2 resembles a Z as said the original is thick heavy vinyl with a noticeable dip a centimetre (give or take a mm or two) from edge of centre hole.
  3. I'm talking about the straight reissues/boot of the original. I'll get JM's guide out shortly.
  4. Does it have a dip in the label towards the centre hole? Other flat?
  5. Just ben through some of me dads old records, most are from Cann's, others from Wilson Peck on Fargate and London Road and some others from MJ Thomas on Middlewood Road. When I got them there wasn't much soul in them as dad was Teddy Boy then Country and Western but loads of Beatles (with pictures out of press stuck on sleeves) and other pop of me mothers. I did get stuff like Please Mr Postman on UK Fontana which I sold to Saus.
  6. Think the Willie Wade been fetching around £400, few asked for it.
  7. Can you please simply edit your original post and not reply with "sold" or "on hold". You've been selling for some time and must have seen the countless other reminders? If not can you please read the pinned topics at the top of the sales forum.
  8. Sounded good on "Sounds of the 60"s" yesterday when it came on the radio whilst driving.
  9. The instrumental is just "Lucky" I think and very rare, the vocal "I'm So Lucky" about £30.
  10. It is 1968 according to the Archer pressing plant discography at https://www.45rpmrecords.com/press/AR.php

I have these down as a year apart, one '68 and the 1203 release '69, any run out details that confirm this Dave? Any chance of proper scans, if not too much trouble?
  12. Maybe not the demand anymore Dave. £100 a good price though and a good record

Please just edit your original post, don't reply with on hold or this or that sold. Several topics at the top of the sales forum, all pinned so easy to find that you should be aware of.
  14. Don't think I've ever seen a copy with labels right way round, £150 about right IMO.
  15. I agree. I'll buy either a 2 cd anthology type package or two separate releases of all his stuff and if you want any photos of him from Cleggy feel free to use what you want.
  16. are they legal those Marginal releases?
  17. Usd to call in and have a chat with either of them when passing from work if about. They had another shop just up from what was old Wagon.

Topic started few days ago about this Paul...... As you and others say a sad day for soul music. 83 a good innings though and he leaves behind some great music which will last forever. R.I.P.
  19. I'd sooner have all his 60's and 70's, maybe a double cd anthology type package?
  20. I had one come yesterday in one of those card mailers where you can get about three records plus card packing, there was just the one record though, no card mailers and a piece of that bubble wrap about 5 inch square. I could hear the record move about as I shook it, luckily no damage.
  21. yes seen one bought recently.
  22. I released when I looked at the track listing again after I posted Tony there was no black music, I will re-edit when I get a minute, just off to the dentist! Should be a great collection as further releases come along.
  23. care to explain why, maybe give us your top 100 and see how it stands up? and maybe you can post and intro and let everyone know who you are?
