There is a place for such discussions, it is called Look At Your Box. Unusual,obscure and rare, big ticket items are often discussed and others that fetch a daft price are discussed as well. Some think the best place for "live auctions" is ebay itself but there is no rule about posting of live auctions on this site regardless what some might say. But at the end of the day if going to post about an auction it has "in my opinion" got to be interesting and not posting run of the mill records with nothing out of the ordinary in the auction for the sake of it.

there is no rule about posting live ebay actions even though some don't like it but what you posted as Bob said there is nothing out of the ordinary about them (though Hal Miller was about a ton on lists anyway, not sure what AOB fetches these days).

no problems and no need to apologise to me but if you take a read what you said it doesn't come across how you intended or as a joke except to those in the know. Maybe the odd emoticon/smiley might have given it a different appearance.

Is there really any need for posts like this? IMO no there isn't. Not everyone knows as much as you and posts like this are the best way to stop people participating on the site.

I've seen it for as little as £40 but have seen for more, £70 on a couple of occasions and higher on another. Thats within the last year and in boxes, not auctions.
