Dave, Trim, this is the last time I'm going to tell you, this is a soul forum not football. Take the football to the sports forum in freebasing!!!

Try and find a local stockist, Staples stock them, will save on postage, if they don't have in stock they might get them in for you. But at less than £6 on line they are great value and best box I've used for storage.
  3. about £150
  4. Think the last one in ex or better nick I saw was either £100 or £150. VG not a lot IMO. How bad is VG, playable, trashed?
  5. Welcome to a true Northern Soul legend, great to have you on here Lorraine.

https://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/uk/html/onlineshop/rub/b09_0litreXL.php the really useful box ones are great, ideal for record storage, stronger than the card one, water proof. The do a two hundred one as well but the only trouble with that is no divider. There's also one for 12"/lps. I've got some and I doubt I would use anything else.
  8. moving to website/auction sale section....
  9. on Teri De I presume, wouldn't pay that for a Highland copy.
  10. Teri De and Highland

Joe went behind Gordon Keith's back. Gordon wasn't the only owner of Steeltown was he? Was Ben Brown something to do with it as well other than recording on the label.
  12. ffs take a chill pill. I asked a question was curious that's all. Knew it wasn't Butch and wondered who played it. That's all, nothing hard work about it. I was there as well rarely missed Bradford if at all.
  13. My apologies there Russ, definitely the seller in your case, I was going by the details, scan and sound file in the link Nev posted. I will say a better scan should have been provided showing the vinyl but like I said the sound file should be enough to put anyone off. Had to laugh when BobA said you couldn't DJ with it. If that had been listed by some it would have said ok for DJing with
  14. I always take vg to be fooked Russ to be honest and I am always wary of buying when graded as vg. Has the page been altered to vg? But I wouldn't have neded any sales pitch, scan or grading, the sound file would have put me off straight away.
  15. couple of scans lifted from ebay some time ago....
  16. whilst were at it here's the Uptight 45....
  17. Fookin 'ell, I wouldn't bid $65 for that let alone add a zero!!! You actually struggle to hear the record in places because of the noise. Amazes me why so many play top whack for fu&ked records!! Certainly can't blame the seller. FBR cheap IMO, very rare record and lots chasing it.
  18. Remind me how much it was Nev? Anyone got a link to the Sensations?
  19. Not Northern and not strictly "Soul" but I watched Soul Men last night on Sky, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1111948/ Quite funny in places, well had me laughing and not a bad way to while away a couple of hours.
  20. Can't Deny The Hurt also on Uptight as Pal Rames. Palmer Crawford Rakes. White Country singer from Florida, he once had a website or was a web page dedicated to him.
  21. it didn't sound like Butch?

Don't doubt you Barry. Hoping there's something that can be done to help it keep going. If the biggest factor is a question of outlets sure there would be a few dealers willing to help out, I certainly would. Other mags sell well at nighters/soul nights etc.
  23. Can't remember when Shifty first got it....... Think I know where the tape came from, or who passed it on.
  24. I was wondering (might be my memory) but don't remember hearing Shifty at Bradford?????
