I've seen the Rujac one for as much as £150 for a minter. Regular spin for me this one, fantastic record!! I wouldn't pay any more than £25 for the Atco release, plenty about.
  13. Think Tony was referring to "Who Are You trying To fool" which to my knowledge was known about before Ady got to Dave Hamilton's archives, had it on tape long time. Don't forget Gilly who was with Tat's when they found the acetate at Dave Hamilton's.
  14. one of the best reads on soul music out there!!! Looking forward to Keith Rylatt's new Detroit book. Currently (still) reading the biography of Phylis Hyman, great insight!

Well usually its the person covering the record up who decides on the cover up name. Could either be because it sounds like a certain singer or some info on the label (or loose connection) could be used, credit/producer/arranger, something from the label etc etc....
  17. I tend not to watch too much telly round these parts let alone your parts
  18. I saw the ad last night
  19. SURVIVORS - GOOD BABY - VALLI 333-B -
  20. the ones on popsike albeit a couple of years ago are round the 350$ mark. It books at £500 in latest JM guide When seen it listed has been around the £200/£250. Think Good Baby is actually the flip, the other side is terrible, Horny Toad the title Soon got tired of Good Baby too.
  21. issue by far the rarer! Demo's still seem to fetch around the £350 mark even though its a pretty regular sale item on lists/auctions.
  22. don't read the topic then, plenty enjoying the topic without any of the hassle/shite you get on other topics.
  23. it may well have been covered up by Carl at first, I just don't remember it being so. Dunno if the one for sale is the on e I had, quite a few turned up last few years. Carl and Maria are on SS, if they read this they will confirm if covered or not.
  24. can't remember it being covered up, Carl Willingham played it first, I got what was then the second known copy (as far as I know).
