  1. until being released on the Kent cd it only existed on a studio acetate which was spun by Clarkie then later Guy.
  2. Seen it before but it is a tough one. Not sure if I listed one for Andy a few months ago
  3. Find it hard to come up with just one name. There are many who have made a contribution to the scene, some more so than others, some without the recognition they deserve but each and everyone has played their part in making this scene what it is.
  4. I personally don't think they are the same Boba. "Gluck" is David Gluck who along with Darrow were the Daruck Production team. Anyone got a decent readable scan of Strange Little Girl?
  5. I was told it was and sure who told me said it was unissued empire state.
  6. is it really the Just Brothers (Go on and laugh)
  7. The original is on Lupine

  11. I've listened 4 times as of yet not to mention the 100's of times when I had the record and never once thought it her. The slower/faster I play it the more convinced I am it ain't her.
  12. Doubt it very much IMHO. Be very surprised it it was.

Tis great record Fight For Your Girl. Used to be a tapper swappers fave at one time years ago. Someone did tell me who King William was or who they thought it was but right now I can't remember what they said

150ish, more for an issue one on Gemm at 300 odd dollars.
  15. Thanks to good mate of mine Gilly had a chat with Hadley Murrell. He tells me he wasn't in the group, thats an urban myth. Along with the group front man James Mitchell he co-wrote the songs, produced the recordings and was onwer of Wind Hit. James Mitchell did all the vocal arrangements and Hadley helped the band, who were the LBJ's form San Francisco, with the musical arrangements. James and the other three members (still don't know who they are ) were all airmen from the Luke airforce base in Arizona and to the best of his knowledge they are all with the big record producer in the sky! He also says you have to go out and buy his cd "The Soul Side Of The Street" that contains a number of records he produced on The Servicemen, Eddie and Ernie and other artists. Hadley says also be on the look out for some unreleased Servicemen recordings being issued in the next few months or so.

Just guessing but I would say Elaine Hill is maybe her real name, the name she used on RSVP????? Not got the latest issue yet, just ordered it
  24. it's was an unreleased alternate version, came out on Joeboy cd or summat like and on an anniversary single for some nighter. Is it Timmy Willis or the Precisions (alternate take)? Can vaguely remember a discussion about this when it first appeared.
