  1. think listed O'Jays for £30 or £40 few months ago
  2. gotta agree, think it's great. Soundfile of the flip anyone (You Can't Destroy My Love), can't wait till the weekend to listen
  3. No real demand Mark as hardly anyone plays it. Only one I can say for sure is Andy Dyson. He also played it on Reflections radio show last year when we came north of the border and got some good feedback over it.
  4. would have thought at least twice that as already said very rare and hardly ever comes up for sale.
  5. I agree Ken me owd...have seen it sell for no problems at all @ £250 and £300
  6. championed this for some time now. gave it a spin on Mark's Solar show as well. Great choice
  7. slowie but a goodie, cheap as well.... Headliners___I_m_So_Tired___Val.mp3
  8. super record. one that seems to have been forgotten or neglected by dj's.
  9. Tommy Ridgely - My Love Gets Stronger - International City Faye Crawford - What Have I Done - RCA Eddie Whitehead - Just Your Fool - Blackjack
  10. Have seen the Herb Ward for around £300/£350. Not sure about Major Harris, not seen for sale for a while but would have thought soemwhere around the same figure, maybe more great record Would have thought there will always be a market for records like thesew while collectors of rare vinyl are still about.
  11. best venue I've been to Dave the Winding Wheel, such a shame about the squad Flyer from the first one......
  12. he did get the rides, they were/are(?) on Thorsby Market. Simon I think said he got £30k....I heard that just for the choice stuff, rest of collection still to go after that. Maybe Rob Wigley will know bit more. Mucky Duck, some great nights there, lethal dancefloor
  13. From that time Baz. Keb or Jimmy Wensiora
  14. definately played it there.....dunno if it was played previously though.
  15. I 've no particular wish to own it James. Maybe if I had 4 grand spare and one was available then I might consider it Carl played it last time at Middleton. And Carls turned down a lot more than £3k I reckon it would fetch more than the £3k mentioned on JM's auction.
  16. Always thought it was a two known copy disc. Knew Carl had one wasn't aware who had other.
  17. it's an old Stafford spin for Keb. Carl Fortnum is the only one who I've heard play this out these days.
  18. Easily worth £3000 IMO. Ridiculously rare and far better than a lot of the so called rare stufff played these days. If Pat & Blenders is £1K plus now the Trent Sisters is worth ten times that in rarity alone Two, three known copies? Probably impossible to put a price on as who knows what it would fetch in an auction
  19. Chalky posted a post in a topic in Record Wants
    much appreciated Eddie
  20. Yes but I think back then the weekenders were every six months or later in the year and the single was late for the anniversary, sure it was given out at the weekender If it wasn't this one I'm sure one was
  21. I agree with the Soul Notes although it has had fair few spins lately. How about the bit rarer flip, Don't Make Me Beg, spun that one ouit a few times recently. Turks and Profiles both had plenty of spins although never really took off. One that deserves to go and still cheap is JJ Daniels Mr. Lonesome on Sureshot Just read this after posting a reply Gotta agree with ya Joan, quality
  22. yeah I know that, I meant an original 60's release? If I remember rightly the Kent one was given out at one of the early Cleethorpes weekenders
