Top 5 (upto £20) 45s
I played it at Percebridge...you was there that night Butch's version is an unreleased acetate...it has male backing...something the two issues don't have for some reason. The issues actually sound unfinished to me when played alongside Butch's version

Top Prices Or What?
Hi John, can remember some years ago someone telling me they saw multiple copies of EP at Soul Bowl, how many, elaborating with the truth dunno mate but I've no rewason to disbelieve you either. The subject came up re: EP at Cleethoprpes last year after one went for a large sum and John Anderson himself said he had a 50 box? He did also say the condition wasn't great as well. Don't doubt it's rarity after all it hardly ever comes up for sale. Also agree with you regarding Butch Time for bed

Top Prices Or What?
One since moved on John, probably more than what they said too I'll see what other says when I see 'em. Always different tho' when something sold for such a price, usually someone wants the same

Top Prices Or What?
two mates after seeing the one recently on ebay both said "they could have had mine for £2k"
-
James Havior - Girl, Girl, Girl - Crow
Have seen this go for as much as £60 in recent times.

Top Prices Or What?
Thought there was plenty of Eddie Parkers about in collections. Sure John Anderson had a box of at least 50 and he was saying he sold them for about a quid a piece. I think the Poets would still fetch £1500 or thereabouts, maybe more, rarer than Eddie Parker IMO. Still only the 3 of Margaret Little, agree with the Prophets well worth it. I would never imagined the Magnetics going for what it did, I know it doesn't come up for sale very often but.....

Winfield Parker - Sweet Little Girl
Sid Jones has (or had last week) an Atco demo.

Richard Domar Records - Sales
abrasive telephone manner no excuse for bad manners especially when some one is telephoning with the intention of buying something

Stormie Wynters On Mercury
This record has been turning up for the last 4 years or so according to the wisest of the wise It's actually been known about since mid 90's and still very few copies, what one known issue? handful of demos??? When it does show it's more than £500 If records like the Cashmeres can go for $2k, Bill Bush for £1500 etc etc, then £500 for Stormie Wynters is laughable by comparison.

Underground? Is It Just A Saying
I though most of the origianl raves were in fields, barns, quarry's...anywhere away from prying eyes

Underground? Is It Just A Saying
they may have had a wider more commercial appeal but as a dance scene it's still underground...it's hardly your saturday night clubbing scene is it?
