£750 For This
It's on Panther. Kenny Burrell spins this version. He's the only one I know who does spin it. I reckon it's as rare as Martha Starr, if not rarer.

What Is Going On
Well you've only an hour to go if you want the chance to get this "future" monster Dunno where the seller goes but I'd like to know the areas this is getting played F****** glad I don't go to the same venues as him

Crap 45s ?

Longest Cover Up 45 Going
Would have thought a few more than 2 - 3. Have seen two copies for sale on auctions in recent months, know of one that could be coming up for sale. Know of at least one more.

Can Instrumentals Be Soulful?
Without going through the catalogue I'd say the figure is mucxh higher. Most of the records were aimed at the white pop buyers. Granted there are many exceptions which you would expect considering they are mostly black artists.

Really Great Forgotten Oldie
Can remember that club, went there for a xmas soul night once. Used to stop over at some mates in Northampton, two brothers Gary and Floyd Zaboki (think thats how you spell it).

Really Great Forgotten Oldie
Certainly got spins at Stafford.

Can Instrumentals Be Soulful?
IMO Most of the funk brothers are Jazz musicians anyway. Also most of the motown output is middle of the road pop

I'd have thought some more besides Pete personally.

Can Instrumentals Be Soulful?
Disregard...f*** that, lets have an arguement...sorry debate IMHO....no they aren't soulful, never will be. Agreed they are good "Northern" and often good dancers but soulful nope It's the lyrics and the interpretation of those lyrics by the singer(s) who put the soul in the record (IMO)

Do Big Name D.j's Really Attract The Crowds ?
Who is DJing does have some bearing on where I go. They don't have to be "names" many good collectors out there who have the balls to try and play something different and thats what I always look for, something different.

Carol & Gerri
Would have thought in the region of £300

Kent 6t's 100 Club Anniversary Singles
I prefer the other side You Can't Lose Something You Never Had Supposed to be Chubby Checker but I've got my doubts, sounds more like Jimmy Radcliffe. If your readiing Ady, I know you said you was going to ask? Did you get anywhere?
