  1. I had the slower Boola Boola release of ITYWM in my sales box for at least two years late 80's, maybe a bit later. In the end I did a swap with Dave Appleyard for Andrea Henry. We'd both got about £80 on each disc.
  2. Eee by 'eck, happy days in Barnsley. Used to spend most of my weekends up there at one time, used to Dj regular at the Tracky Club with Bub and Derek.
  3. Have seen for £200 and £250 in recent months.

Neither the Four Arts or Little Nicky Soul are probably that well known by the mainstream punters. If one or two of the right DJs started playing them agaiin they would have their day again and maybe they would thewn fetch that bit more. Don't hear either played out much at all. Will dig the "You Said" mp3 out for you Christian.
  6. Always told straight to the point and no point beating about the bush, I like to say what I think. Not being nasty or anything, would be happy to swap a cd with Karen and Brett.
  7. I think someone I know just paid 2k for Chuck Hoiday, certainly a four figure number.
  8. Only had the two so far, Nick's yesterday and Kolla and Al's today. Have played the Pauline Shivers record out a few times , cheap and again under=rated. Beverley Schaffer, got an unissued thing of hers on tape, reminds me to dig it out. Ella Woods, sheer class!!! Looks a good un you two, will stick it on shortly.
  9. Mine said "Can't" although I've got cloth ears and sometimes think they sing "Can" and other times "Can't" ;-) If you follow ;-)
  10. No probs as long as it doesn't go onto website for all to download, would be defeating the object of a swap then. Give him a little longer though.

The one on ebay went for $873. I thought that was well cheap and was expecting it to got for somewhere round the £700/£800 mark. Flip is good too.
  14. Its on Dee Gee. came out twice, same label number (3008) but with different flips.
  15. LIve Up To What She Thinks, superb record IMO!
  16. Just litening to Nicks mid tempoo groovers. One or two I don't know glancing at track list :-) Fantastic Four sooo under-rated and the Bonnie Brisker is just pure class.

Hi Jock, be nice to see the other flyers. Did have some of them but got lost somewhere down the line. Do have the ads from echoes etc somewhere though, will try and dig them out. I think after the Winding Wheel shut in Chesterfield, Allanton was deffo one of the places to go, used to love it up there, top nite.

  21. Have seen another photo of the Hamilton Movement with seven or eight in the group. One of them looks a right twat in the outfit he's got on ;-)
  22. It was booted on Trans Am.

Michigan move was if I remember rightly is from a studio tape with 19 takes on it. On the last take there is a comment saying "what you getting so worked up about it's a shit intro." The studio I think was summat to do with the "Washpan" set up. Will see if I can find some notes I have.
  25. Even better version (IMO) Andy by William Hunt on Streamside, more soulful. Cheap too at about £30 or £40. And I've played this out in years gone by ;-)
