  1. The main thing is the condition of the Vinyl & Label. As Pete says you can replace the sleeves from other sources if felt necessary.
  2. Now that takes me back. I haven't seen a DEMO of this since the 70s on a trip to Soul Bowl. A friend who had travelled down with me bought a copy with the "RADIO STATION INFO" Sticker. Just as your picture. I already had the Stock Copy & was buying many other Items on 45. Nice One, definitely a bargain.
  3. I have this as a DOUBLE Sided DEMO with "The Onion Song" I'm sure that I've also seen "California Soul" as a DOUBLE Sided DEMO. Looks like both sides promoted. Wondering which side took it into the charts in U.S.A.
  4. Yes Thanks Baz Not back at work yet, but on the mend.
  5. Yes, seen the "Frances Nero" also Jr Walker "Shake & Fingerpop", Isley Brothers "Take Some Time Out For Love". Here are the copies I have.
  6. Here's the more common BOOT on Liberty Bell
  7. This BOOT came out in the 70s, using the 1968 Version from the Rare Stamps Album >>> LINK <<< Other than that, I don't think that it was issued as a 45 before the Contempo Version.
  8. Here it is on PopSike.com PopSike.com
  9. Hi Sid I've looked & looked but can't find a value. Not easy to find it would appear, I'd say your Mint copy very appealing especially with Picture Cover. Would Imagine more than a UK Fontana copy Rarity wise, trouble is some only collect UK or U.S.A. Highly desirable to the right collector in my opinion.
  10. I just happened to notice this Elvis Presley record TODAY >>> LINK <<< Mentions 25 Copies in the box in the 1950s and this one is a Mint Unplayed Copy. 1 Previously Auctioned in 2006 Doesn't actually make clear how many of the original 25 are left, and box not Included in sale. 2 Photos of the box in the listing & from the angle can't see contents. However the bidding now over $8000 RESERVE NOT MET Makes you wonder how many Potentially, are left to be Auctioned. Doesn't appear to have put bidders off, but I suppose we are talking Elvis Presley.
  11. It is a Minefield, However with Motown Labels there are quite a few Different pressing plants involved & the vast majority are OK. Here's a Couple on Tamla, again they have different credit layout, as they are different pressing plant.
  12. It's not just the Soul Label Here's 3 Very Different DEMOs for the same release.
  13. It's the Motown stuff, so many different Pressing Plants Involved. Notice how SOUL is slightly different on the Jimmy Ruffin DEMO
  14. It is right Dean Definitely OK Mate It's a West Coast Monarch & Extremely Rare. Here's Frances Nero again PopSike.com West Coast The following are from other pressing plants PopSike.com PopSike.com
  15. I know exactly what you mean, However I have seen various numbers as a Soul DEMO with this Design. I haven't seen one close up, only scans, they are the West Coast Variation.
  16. Agree about Labels being a Beautiful Art form, I find them fascinating with all the different Variations & Designs over such a Small Canvas. That's a RARE One Mate, I haven't seen that variation before for 35014 This one just arrived today, not easy to find as a DEMO either.
  17. A DEMO Just sold on ebay part of a 4 record lot >>> LINK <<<
  18. Now they're BOTH very nice. So unusual to see on a CADET Label Plus The Blue vinyl, never seen either before, Many Thanks.
  19. I remember the thrill of finding my British Black & Gold CHESS "Rescue Me" in a Second Hand Shop, way back at the start of my collecting. Still have it to this day.
  20. Definitely Pick Them Up Cheap Many different variations, I bought the Soul DEMO for $5 Last Year
  21. 2 on PopSike.com PopSike.com PopSike.com
