Soul Twins - Quick Change Artist @ Karen
Many different designs for Karen, the West Coast Design arrived by chance from Soul Bowl and is a Rare one. Not that any are that easy, one day I would love to try for all the variations, but that would take time and a Lottery win. My Stock copy is the 2 Line Copy on Vinyl. The Re-Issue is the first one that I bought, still nice to have.

Thanks once again, We are a little closer to finding her, strange that she should be so elusive.

Peculiar Tamla 45 By Kim Weston
Gotta say now that we have a closer look, that blurred print does make it look like a Boot. Now from a Mystery to a Whodunit, when and why.

St Lawrence
Yes we should. That is a very rare copy, Thanks for posting.

Sad News Richard Popcorn Wylie RIP
Sad News. One of the All Time Greats. His name is on many of my favourite records. R.I.P.

Peculiar Tamla 45 By Kim Weston
Thanks Mate. The Early Canadian stuff was on the Yellow Tamla Label but kept the U.S.A. Number whether it be Motown, Gordy etc. That 5001 Number does suggest another country as even on a Canadian copy I would expect 54100.

Wanted Charlie Drake - My Boomerang Won't Come Back
I don't believe it Mark. Look what I bought the other month. Only cost me a few dollars, but I like to collect. I remember hearing these in my youth & quite honestly was looking to a point in time when these were released v's The Soul Records released on each Label. Many of the Comedy records mentioned were frequent plays on the Radio & TV.

St Lawrence
Yes, forgot about this one Steve. Seen it on White & Pink too

St Lawrence
Yes, looks very nice that DEMO as I say first time I have seen a copy. The St Lawrence label changed slightly throughout it's run. Address just under the logo on the early numbers, Address at the bottom of the label later numbers. There is also the Styrene West Coast Pink Label if you can find them.

St Lawrence
Looks OK to me Mate, difficult when It's a scan though. John Manship has had a DEMO (One Sided) on his site >>> LINK <<< It's just that I hadn't seen one.
-
St Lawrence
Here is the >>> St Lawrence label at Hitsville Soul Club <<< We haven't completed yet, I haven't seen a one sided DEMO for this, but the previous number 1022 shows a One Sided DEMO. Just been on PopSike.com All show "Never let Your Love Grow Cold" side Not sure about this one, address missing but that could be the way the label has been cut out as there is a hint of an address to the bottom right of the scan.

Thanks Mate, it would be interesting to find something out. I have been searching PopSike.com and found this one from PORTUGAL the numbering system is similar, (5009) but too many years between releases I suppose. Plus no picture of the label. --TMATS 5009 TAMLA MOTOWN

Peculiar Tamla 45 By Kim Weston
It was this that I was referring to "Raynoma Gordy apparently bootlegged Motown records when she was running the New York office. Could it be one of those." Many have mentioned the Boots via Raynoma Gordy from the 60's. but we don't appear have any definite scans, I can't remember seeing any.

Never seen this one before Pete. I have been looking around to try to find something, anything!. Not a known Printing Error as far as I'm aware >>> LINK (Searbear.com) <<< Looking at the label 2 colour (Black print on Yellow Label) must be a low cost press to produce. Got the Matrix correct on the Label & Deadwax but then to have 5001 instead of 54100 Very Strange. These copies must be out there somewhere Steve. I wonder if you have the correct answer to this mystery. ------------------------------------------------------- It could be from a another country. --Certainly unusual. I have seen a small number of scans from various countries, another reason for a 2 colour press perhaps similar to these Dutch Black/Silver or Orange/Black Motown map design. They used the GO prefix though. PopSike.com Apart from Canada using the Tamla Logo, and this Dutch Motown, how many other countries attempted to copy U.S.A. designs I wonder?.

Paypal Thing
Yes, Normal & Not too much of a problem, However. I decided to Confirm by PayPal phoning me (Automatic) I clicked, had a simple 4 Digit Number displayed on screen to Quote, the phone rang Instantly. I virtually answered within a few seconds, but they had hung up. When I tried again I was told that because I have an answering machine (???? News to me) the Automatic Phone Call had failed. Now told a letter containing another number was to arrive within 2 Weeks., (Phone Option Gone) Waited 2 Weeks and no letter, so I looked at my account and tried again to confirm my account via Phone, this option was available once more. Success this time. A week later the letter arrived which I kept but didn't act on, as job already done.

Hi Miff I have one of these, used to belong to my sister. Another Beatles Christmas Record December 18, 1964 (Lyntone LYN 757) It did have a Picture sleeve & Insert when new. (However she let someone borrow her Albums, this was inside one of them. Sleeve & Insert Missing when returned.) Quite collectible.
