  1. Hi Pete, You've unearthed some good clips here, Thanks.
  2. Brilliant, Thanks again.
  3. Brilliant record, always loved this, Thanks for Posting the Link Pete
  4. Hi The constant in almost all of these records, either forgotten or over played is quality. The reason some were forgotten is the sheer amount of brilliant records our scene has discovered over the years. Look forward to more, & I hope refosoul is back soon so we can all have a listen.
  5. Hi Amazing, once again, a record that you would expect/should be there. Surely considering it is known in the U.K. & Europe It gained a 45 release on Loma ....... no scans or positive sighting, Strange. Loma 2004 ...... Anyone. >>> LINK <<< As already mentioned it does have a release number.
  6. Hi Mark Sundays won't be the same, respect your decision however sad that it should come to an end. All the Best in whatever it is that you decide to do next.

Hi Kevin Sorry to hear that Mate, hope you are O K now. I noticed the Soulspinner Site had changed earlier today, looking good.
  8. I am 53 this year, around the same age as Ian, however I have to say that my parents didn't own a car, we went everywhere by train, bus or walked. At 16 Florida wasn't even a dream, it was impossible. If the guy made the most of his circumstances, then fair play, but he should remember that not all have had that chance in life.

I can't remember seeing one. However, I'm sure that it should exist. The Omen Label was the Local release & Vault, the National Release.

These are all Styrene, anyone seen an Omen Stock Copy, I haven't.
  11. Amazing, thanks. I've just watched Amy Winehouse and "Tears Dry" Video, didn't expect to see this one. Thanks Again.
  12. Hi Sean Might be me, I always thought that the Instrumental was based on the "Get Out Of My Heart" track. or Visa-Versa. Not a straight Vocal to the Instrumental. If you know what I mean.
  13. Hi Thanks for the Info, Was it Instrumental or Vocal like these two.
  14. Soul Symphony, and it's different titles, if that counts. Makes you wonder why it kept changing name, even in the U.K.
  15. & Now the Collectables, Label. If you Include U.K. Labels the list goes on, of course.
  16. I have tou-sea 134, haven't played it in a while though. Thanks for the Listing Info.
  17. Hi Al Sorry it's taken a while, I couldn't find it, but better late than never. As promised Matrix Number "DJ 003 A # 1 V A420 1 1 2"
  18. I remember Bill, he used to live in Thorne didn't he, I haven't seen him for years. Must be the Early/Mid 70's since I saw him.

Also check out YouTube >>> Silly, Silly Fool <<< >>> Long After Tonight Is All Over <<< >>> What's It Gonna Be <<< While you are there look for the many Dusty Springfield, Motown Covers etc Nice record to own especially with Picture Sleeve, makes it that bit more collectable.
  20. Hi Tom Hope so, always good to hear that things like this Picture Sleeve exist. I don't know if anyone has actually listed the Okeh stuff that did have a Picture Sleeve. I'm not sure which was the first Okeh to have a Picture Sleeve, but as already mentioned have seen quite a few of the Major Lance singles treated to this extra collectable Item.
  21. Hi Dave Yes,why not I'll get on to it, I have a few on Phil-La Of Soul. Can't help with the Karate Discography though unfortunately.
  22. Hi Kev I am trying to record this in, had numerous computer problems over the last few weeks, Just bringing this to the top again, hope to get a Sound Clip shortly, unless someone beats me to it.
  23. Hi Tom Wow, gotta say I've never seen the Picture Cover for this. I have seen the Major Lance / Walter Jackson / Artistics etc, but not this one.
  24. Hi Mick Thanks so much for posting this, Label Variations such as these, I find Fascinating. Always difficult to find which Variation is the rarer, but just goes to show that just because one copy is different to another doesn't always suggest foul play. I can only assume that because Columbia pressed their own records, we are witnessing different times of promotion. Possibly in the order 1A - 2A etc with the corresponding Label & credit layout.
  25. Hi Pottsy So it would come down to who had the Orange Labels done, and when. I have 2 Orange Labels and 0 Yellow. The Trans-American - Trans - Trans-American is still a puzzle. Why did they keep changing names if you follow the Telephone Number, route.
