So pleased I held on to my original copy of this
Very nice, thanks for posting. I have always like this record as either Vocal or Instumental.

So pleased I held on to my original copy of this
It must be one of only a handful of copies and extremely rare. A couple of collectors had previously told me that it existed is this variation titled "SALVATION". This is the first and only time that I have personally seen one.

Thanks Peter. All is well now mate will be spending more time on here now. I had a diffcult and busy time last year when my 90 year old Father died. Spent many months prior with Hospital visits to see him etc. Daily visit to Soul Source by mobile a lot of the time. Thanks Paul. I am not sure of its source but it does look to be a re-issue. I seem to recall that I have seen some information surrounding these re-issues. When I find it I will post here. The original Yellow & Green Robert Thomas Vocal has been about in great number, I bought my copy for around a fiver in 2011. It is in demand currently so has increased in value as already mentioned. The original Yellow & Green Instrumental copy appears to be extremely rare and has undergone a curious title change at some stage. I bought this copy " THE IRON HORSE" for £40 in 2013.

Catch it before it starts. Even has the alternate title for the instrumental written above SALVATION.

Apparently there are copies of "The Men From Macon" on Yellow & Green titled "SALVATION" I have seen one on YouTube. Never been able to find a copy though. Took me years to find this variation.

Dells - Run for cover
I'm not sure of quantity pressed or which titles were done, but I believe that they are later re-issues distributed by GRT using same release number. RE ISSUE : For 5590 "There Is" released twice, First as the B Side on 5574 so I'm guessing that GRT only re-issued certain release numbers.

Bill Black's Combo Little Queenie sticker
Just a thought. The key here may be Australia as I have seen stickers with similar wording on a few Australian London stock copies. https://www.45cat.com/label/london-au/16 Even though your record is a UK press it may have found its way as a promotion item in Australia for some reason.

Bill Black's Combo Little Queenie sticker
Unfortunately I cannot answer the question. However I have just found another on popsike. It does look exactly the same as the sticker on your copy. www.popsike.com

Piano Intros
One of the shortest intros, a few quick notes on the piano and Instantly recognisable. Smokey and the Fabulous Blades - Jerk, Baby Jerk.

Group tracks that have been recorded by a group member
I have just listened to this on YouTube and it sounds to me like the AA-7005 Matrix on my AUDIO ARTS! AA-701 Same Vocal and Organ accompaniment.

www.popsike.com www.popsike.com AUDIO ARTS! - 701 -The Incredibles - CRYING HEART - Has the same AA 7005 Matrix number as Carl Gilbert. I have not had the Carl Gilbert to compare but wonder if they are indeed the same take. (Master plate) AUDIO ARTS! 60,001 - The Incredibles - CRYING HEART. The three below have 6794 Matrix number.

Piano Intros
Earl Van Dykes I Can't Help Myself is another.

Sheila Anthony - Livin' In Love is one of my favourites.

Jesse James Track Info Please
It should be there as I have numbers at both sides of that release with the older multicoloured design. Although it would appear that it is only about in very small quantities.

Lorenzo Manley Swoop down on you
I have seen two different DEMOs so no doubt different pressing plants used. The one on 45cat with PLUG SIDE on the "TO PROVE MY LOVE " side. However, mostly like my copy. Both of my copies DEMO and Stock Copy have Identical Stamped Matrix. OR-123 and OR-124 with an "H" Stamp opposite.

London silver top question
As said others may differ but I am one of those collectors that would pay a lot more than £9 for such an item. Well done. I'm pleased for you.

London silver top question
You can always get another Silver Top. Where are you ever going to find another like this one.

London silver top question
Every collector has different ideas about such mis pressed records. If it was my copy I certainly wouldn't send it back. I would love to own it.

Roddie Joy - He's So Easy To Love - Red Bird Demo
The actual bird and guitar appear to have been printed in red and then over printed black on the guitar leaving a red glow down one side. I don't think that I have seen this on others.

Roddie Joy - He's So Easy To Love - Red Bird Demo
Yes I know that. My point was that very often when bootlegs or counterfiets are made the quality lacks in one way or another. I was looking to more common records for comparison of manufacture. Vinyl and Styrene.

Roddie Joy - He's So Easy To Love - Red Bird Demo
Just had a quick look through my collection. Even though they may be different pressing plants and quite common records, the quality of printing and position of logo are spot on. Vinyl Styrene Vinyl Styrene

Tmg?
OK I knew I had seen it somewhere. >>> 2006ANDREAM <<< the word GRAMOPHONE slightly wrong follows the word GRAMOPHLTD according to LINK above.
-
Tmg?
I will have to check but I'm almost certain that each run at the pressing plant had G R A M etc following the letters in the word G R A M O P H O N E as part of this coding. ( edited, see next post )
