  1. Cheers Bob, spotted it in the auction section, guess its legit :g: Blake
  2. Can some kind soul tell me if the Tropics Hey you little girl, on Wax Museum is a boot or a legal reissue please? I know it's on Topic but JMs (4th) guide also has it listed on WM and not differentiated as a boot. TIA Blake

  4. Looks like the same is happening here with Bobby Burn, wonder if its a return or another and how many he might have. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150844193317&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123 BH
  5. Will you be having a clearance sale now? :D
  6. Dont know if its been mentioned but Charlie Thomas -Run Run Roadrunner- UK EMI must be quite an obscure UK release especially a DJ. Only had it once and traded it for a Bobby Reed on Bell. It was highly prized among the NY island collectors and the guy I traded with was delighted with the trade (as was I as it only cost me £6!). Never seen it since and it never shows up in my alerts. BH
  7. Didn't you put it on an Orwell freebie cd some years ago Brian? :g:

  10. Both ended with reserve not met :g:
  11. See he's put a high reserve on them to max up profit, guess it would take a lot of copies to satisfy world demand and bring prices down. The George Jacksons on Verve are still a steady seller at £70+. BH

  17. Intresting how many of the original posters are now no longer active. BH
  18. If it means the same old A-list collectors not getting first dibs and the little guys standing a chance I'm all for it, I hated the "You can't look in that box mate" syndrome. BH
  19. Your right Bob........ https://www.ebay.com/itm/251068479056?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 It was a minter though, guess this might bring a few copies out of the woodwork. BH
  20. Best collection I ever bought came from Lille, myself and Kev Johnno borrowed a van to go and pick it up, coming off the ferry we had both windows open a sudden gust of wind blew the map and directions into the harbour  luckily we had a phone number. The guy had come over to Kent/London in the late sixties/early seventies just buying soul. He had auctioned it of over 6 lists, we asked what he was doing with the unsold items, he let us have them at a nominal sum, about 1600 45s and 6-700 albums. Always had a soft spot for Lille, happy days BH
