The brothers are you ready for this
Should be worth much more than its US or UK equivalent in terms of rarity. But that doesn"t seem to count for much re northern collecters who value the US issue as more, in the main, and sometimes the UK issue but not the rarer Euro issues for some reason. Any chance of a look at the sleeve ? Cheers Paul

Lets clean up the Ghetto Washington Edit
Don"t think theres any real story Peter just Philly promotions being clever and inserting the different city names on the record to promote it in those places. Thirteen in all I believe. PhillyDaveG listed them all in his Philly discography on those comps that were out a while back Cheers Paul PS Sorry TSU gonna be at least next w/end untill I can check for you

Is collecting rare soul vinyl an investment
Think the answear to your question stateside is yes er no er maybe. Depends what you are selling. As you say records in demand will fetch more than you think they are worth/paid for but this has no relevance on quality. Best to just buy records you like and enjoy them, rather than thinking about profit/investment I find Cheers Paul

European import duties

Loraine Rudolph - Washington Post Article
I met her niece some years ago In DC didn"t know she was her niece untill she asked me if I had heard of her. Confirming that I did and mentioning the Jetstream 45 next thing I know theres a phone pressed to my ear and I"m talking to Aunty Lorraine ! She told me she had spoken to w/ender promoters in the UK re a visit but was concerned as she didn"t know them. I told her not to worry and go for it ! Cheers Paul
