  7. Yep I'm with you on this one "Sutty" fantastic LP full of Charles Stepney genious. Probably cost 20 bucks or less as well if you look around. While on the subject of The Mighty Mighty ones anybody help me out with this one; I have the LP "Fredom Means" twice, one with a green cover and one with a brown one. I'm talking about the reverse side here 'cos the front has a pic of the Dells in a park, but now I look at the pic the background is more green on one and brown on the other All the details are the same on the covers but.....................the 'green' cover has the 'yellow' Cadet label and the "brown' cover has the "blue' label both are CA 50004 Cheers Paul

  10. He was also over with one of the "Waylo revues" back in the 80s and rather wonderful he was too. As its groups I have to go along with everyone whos mentioned the Dells @ Trentham Saw them a couple of years later in Oakland and it was the same show but without the 'northern' tracks. On the same bill that night were Bloodstone who performance wise gave the Dells a good run for their money. Cheers Paul
  11. Detroit Emeralds @ Wigan Casino, people sitting on the dance floor rabbiting wishing the band would finish so they could get back to dancing. Think they did drawn out versions of 'Feel The Need", "Float On"(yep The Floaters tune) and "Feel The Need" again can't remember them doing anymore, maybe I sloped off to Mr Ms Cheers Paul

  25. Hi Mark, Just had a look at the link you kindly provided. The copy I have is Steves old one which you say came from Soul Bowl, so I would think its a real one. Don't suppose Ian Clark told you how to spot a boot in his E mail ? Happy 2008 to you and all mate Hi DelTee Yeah not 'seen' you for ages missed ya mate where have you been ? Then you come back and pee all over my parade with yer PB deadwax malarky...............I dunno Eddie D not mentioned in the price guide I have (an old one) nor the guide as you say either. Having read the link soulechoes provided Ian Clark no less seems to think it was booted, so I'm still wondering what the deal is with Mr Clark saying it was booted and Mr Manship apparantly not ? Still no more on 'our man' Bert I'm afraid, still at least we got a photo (thanks to Chris) and some anecdotes. Going Stateside with Kipper soon and hopefully gonna be talking to some music biz people so I"ll make sure to drop his name into conversation............you never know !! I"ll keep you posted of course and who knows may be able to ressurect that thread Thanks for the posts guys Cheers Paul
