  1. It's a fantastic film which I have watched numerous times and notice something different every time. I would just like to clarify it was the last Twisted Wheel at Whitworth Street The Wheel is still Live and Kicking at Alter Ego Princess Street, Manchester Check out this video also taken at the last Whitworth Street, Wheel
  2. I don't know where your going because we see plenty..Admittedly a few are WYS, but some of the Young DJs playing there maybe there friends but are not WYS I saw a young DJ from the midlands play there recently..I'll find his name and post it later
  3. Stacie Stewart is on in Wolverhamton on Sunday along with the Black Bee boys Ive seen Sam Moore use young DJs at Nottingham Irish Blackhearts us young DJs Alex Simms and Liam Beckett from Yorkshire play out regular Etc Etc Etc
  4. That's not true..Black Bee Boys get everywhere..Young DJs from Yorkshire, the Midlands and the North West are playing at venues on a regular basis
  5. I've been to many venues where young soul lovers DJ Black Bee in Manchester and Wigan Young Souls at Highfield Soul Club are 2 venues promoted by the younger generation and who use young DJs to do guest spots
  6. Spot on Wigan Young Souls @ Highfield Soul Club and Black Bee Soul Club are 2 clubs promoted by the younger generation, whilst they are 2 good clubs they are like chalk n cheese There are some great young folk at both venues, visit them and some people may change their opinions
  7. Andy I don't have a problem with the young uns going and no they won't be there next month However there will be plenty of the older ones who have changed their plans to try and get 2 minutes of fame We sometimes go on a Friday and it gets busy, you just know it's goanna be rammed tonight
  8. BBC 3 where tracking folks down on SS for another TV programme a couple of weeks ago so I guess there is another due soon Cant wait to see how many pages of feedback there is after the programme
  9. Yeah they have provided a free minibus to take Wigan Young Souls and their friends to dance at the Ritz
  10. Ive got to say although i was a regular at The Wheel before it left Whitworth Street and I only ever saw 2 traders there, one was selling excellent soul/mod artwork and the other was selling badges. I also think Pete Roberts is a very good promoter and is one of the few to have the balls to ban a person who has been ripping off numerous folks on the Soul Scene
  11. Yeah I am a big fan of Richards and he is a a very nice guy and there is no doubt of his heritage on the scene KGH could be one of the best events in the Country and just wish they would sort out the Beer Monsters and Disco Divas who frequent the venue On a positive note I heard there where improvements at the last one so we will try it for ourselves again soon
  12. I'm not too sure KGH Blackburn could be considered a quality event, more quantity than quality
  13. Copy n paste em into your pictures and you should be able to twist em
  14. Hi have Frans tel No do you want me to pm you

  16. According to The Films FB page it is on Fri n Sat but the tickets where bringing £65 - £125 on Stubhub & Evilbay. They where taken off after some comments, not sure if there back up for sale
  17. If you went The Twisted Wheel you would be considered a younster by some of the original Wheelers who still attend

Some of the girls dancing can be seen out n about most weekends, although it didn't come across but they are very good dancers and commited soul lovers. Some of the girls have no doubt been around Northern Soul all their lives and have parents and family members who have attended venues for many years The Britts whernt for me, they had fun, it wont do any harm and they don't deserve the backlash they have received from some!

And a lot of those hardworking people have been totally overlooked, do you realistically believe that the Film production team and the BBC have handled this well. I am stating what many others believe but are too afraid to becuase of hysterical comments like yours

I was surprised and disgusted to discover that all the young soul lovers and others who assisted in the production of this film where not invited to the preview screening and had to enter the draw and the vast majority have failed to get tickets
  21. Like others have said the building is Awesome, it has a very good dancefloor and gets very busy Personally I love it, Some very good dancers are normally there with Carl Piper and his mates There is a second Motown room which plays some good music but you might have to dodge a few handbags
