  1. Hi Ivor Yeah it has TJ all over it! Can't believe how it's slipped the net for the rest of us though! Had the LP for years and never realised how good it was til last week!!!! The beauty of the Soul Scene eh? There's always summat new to hear Strange how it's the title of the LP yet it doesn't seem to have been released as a 45 or 12"???? Cheers Steve
  2. Hello Mr Adams Jr Looks like this record could go places as it sounded fabulous at Soul in the Sun last week after being spun 2 or 3 times by Biff Have now dug the LP out too and it sounds spot on for now! Be interesting to see if it got released other than on the LP? I think that 'German' 12" you refer to turned out to be a German seller listing the LP as a 12" on a well known internet site Anyways, I'm in the queue for a 12" or 45 after your good self Cheers Steve
  3. This subject comes up fairly regularly on Soul Source and each time new tracks get mentioned, so all power to whoever started the thread as there has been some brill stuff mentioned On a slightly different slant i've recently been playing four LP-Only Northern classics where each take is significantly different to the 45's we're used to- Alice Clark - You hit me (late 60's/early 70's version) - GWP LP Frank Dell - He broke your game wide open (late 60's/early 70's version) - Guinness LP Dee Dee Sharp - What kind of lady (with extra verse and backing vocals) - Gamble LP Sam Dees - Lonely for you baby (with count-in and femme backing vocals) - Jap LP Cheers Steve

Strangely enough the UK 45 has the Sax ending too (or am I dreaming it? No i think it has? Sorry I'm talking to myself ) Never had a US W/D. Be great if the US W/D's had the sax ending too but I suspect it'll be the normal US 45 version? Cheers Steve
