Live Everyday For Your Love - Sir John Henry
It's identical to Johnny Mack on JMA, I sold one of each to Ian, the man's got good ears

Kavetts On Len-dre
Yes but not a minter, one of my friends here has a totally sparkly copy, but he's traveling for the next week +, as Boba says makes more sense for Adey to get from UK if poss. Hasn't this been comped before, or was that one of those not so legal cd's!!?

The Moovers - Darling I'll Go
Both these tracks are on my Most Played list on my iPod, they're ridiculous. Seb is IDNNH by the Moovers the same song as the Johnny K Killens b-side? I've listed that one as a want here a while ago

Anyone Know What Benny Scott On Jm's Went For?

Oscar Perry
I got a mint one just a year or two back for a steal , thought was off ebay but not showing up in my history so guess was from elsewhere, what a killer, think at a grand you'd have a list of buyers too On the subject of rare and great uptempo 45's, how come everyone missed the even rarer Walter B on Apollo just this week on ebay, have a minter of that already but kicking myself for not picking up for the trades box, one impossibly tough 45

Need A Stone Discography
We recently had Young Jessie on stage so how about Shovel in the gravel???
-
Need A Stone Discography
Duh, yep, sorry, Bob Stone is not actually on Stone! Just looked on Georgiasoul.com, the 3 I have are the only things listed on the label, may be other non-soul 45's but looks like that's it.
-
Jimmy Robins- I Just Can't Please You
Have the Roy Wright too, I've occasionally as a private joke for myself played the blue-eyed cover of the Jimmy Robbins back to back with it, silly I know but hey
-
Need A Stone Discography
I have 4 that really like, sorry don't have label #'s memorised Thomas Bailey and Flintstones Band - Flintstone Shuffle brutal boogaloo 60's funk, deep flip, bastard hard to find Flintstones - Ruby easiest of the bunch to find Alice Rouzier and Little Joe - I love you strident, pleading midtempo, really rate this Bob Stone - Stone Soul / Funky Jive another goodie
-
Jimmy Robins- I Just Can't Please You
Pushing the rarity label, there's 2 cover versions, one, bizarrely, in Spanish - actually more specifically think in Catalan - which is good but just interesting, but the must-have is a US, probably blue-eyed powerhouse version, only know of handful of copies so far which is funny as it's on a "known" label, can be heard on one of DJ Honky's excellent mix cd's that a lot of people here were the happy recipients of, have a spare in trades box.

Jm Auction Prices
A shitload more than I just paid for it dear T. On ebay, well-listed, full sound sample. People are crazy

Help Needed With Value
Have one, but can't say particularly rate it, not funky enough for a funk night, not soul-y enough for a soul night.
-
Baby Love & Group - Is Your Love Real
Just fyi that's the 2nd label, can't remember name of 1st right now - Philomena? something like that - but the same recording, have a Dud Sound copy but not a spare, great 45, good luck!

Live Acts You Would Like To See At Weekenders
Have seen a good proportion of the singers on this list, all great, we're working on bringing several of them to our monthly night here (www.myspace.com/digdeepernyc), slightly easier for us being in New York obviously, funnily have the managers of the Brothers of Soul literally asking us to have them play there, ditto Eula Cooper just contacted us, nice problem to have! Anyone with contacts for these or other artists please drop a line, we're super motivated to keep putting them on stage and you're right, time really is running out to see a lot of them. Back when I moved here in in the 80's picked up my very first copy of the Village Voice and saw Chuck Jackson was playing a black supper club uptown called Sweetwaters that night, got there and got to "interview" him (claimed was from Blues and Soul magazine to get backstage, blush) and in the second set he dedicated a song to his "new friend all the way from London, England" - if that was a true statement then could almost claim Chuck was my first friend here in the States!! Remember seeing Lou Rawls play the Apollo on Valentine's Day with Marlena Shaw as the support act, one knockout night Best act ever, no contest: James Carr, he was epic.

Jerry Walker - Mr Limp
I have a nice clean Mr Limp, there was one on a uk list within the last year at a rather more realistic price (uk400?) and there's been 3 on ebay inlast couple of years but 2 of those were pretty chewed. Also have the Rattler Parts 1 and 2 by the Celebrities on Ten High which think is the one you're referring to, label design is different but same producer/writer credits. Actually have a spare of that come to think of it...

Lewis Clark "if You Ever Leave Me" Tigertown
Strictly it doesn't list for much but it's wayyyyy better than his more known Tigertown release Marc as sure you agree
-

Harvey Scales - Trackdown
Cool, thanks Marc!

Harvey Scales - Trackdown
Hi, we're putting on Harvey Scales live in NYC in a few weeks, need a copy of this 45 for our on-air promotion, not least as he's agreed to play it live on the night for the first time EVER since he recorded it which is pretty great!! Please shout if you have a copy, plus you can check out details of our monthly night here www.myspace.com/digdeepernyc

Johnny Mack On Jma
Sold one of these to a "name" UK dealer recently so guess getting spins, but what almost nobody seems to have picked up on is that it as well as on this Florida label, it also came out on a NYC label with a totally different artist credited, identical recording, have a spare of a minter for $100 which is less than half the JMA one has been going for for the 1st person who PM's
