  1. King George & The Fabulous Souls - I Need You on Audio Arts I know it's tough. Message me with price and condition. Cheers Pete
  2. Milton Wright on Satiron. Crazy money for a late 70's release, pressed in quantity and not rare..
  3. Excellent stuff! Some very late night footage here, the sessions were rammed until 2 am! Hopefully see you in 2017!
  4. Looking for a playable, clean copy of Sugar Bear on Drells. Price and condition please Cheers
  5. Brilliant stuff Chalky, 'Think About It Girl' was massive when the album first appeared..
  6. first one in our house was Liberty "Girl You Better Wake Up" and King Erisson "Zola" , the Mecca/Cleethorpes influence was big in Leicester back then, I don't think this combo will win the silly prize though..
  7. Harrison Bros for me , rawer, atmospheric, sparse instrumentation to the fore. I'd have thought this was also 'Pop Corn' Wylie and Mike Terry on piano and baritone sax? Awesome driving, chopping guitar, it's a winner..
  8. Soul Superiors & Sherman Willis 'Your Love Is Super Good' on Rhythm After a clean(ish) copy . Please PM with price and condition. Cheers Pete
  9. I've always liked the J.J Barnes take. I used to have the very pretty, Revilot multi-coloured stock copy.. Given the surreal, bootleg, mistaken identity and occasionally defensive nature of this thread what's your favourite version? ....
  10. Final reduction, hopefully priced right to sell!
  11. This is absolute madness, not the clearest of descriptions but he does say in the queries section that it's a boot/reissue https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-NORTHERN-SOUL-45-FRANKIE-BEVERLY-BECAUSE-OF-MY-HEART-Re-HEAR/141859041261?_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D34882%26meid%3D5f3ef81a2a704626a31c03b6a40ee01b%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D24%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D331736757345 fucking idiots...still 3 days to go..
  12. I got a copy off Tim Brown's auction a while back.. The label is a slightly darker red but identical print. The vinyl is pressed flat without the bevelled edge and yes it's opaque compared with the repress which you can see through if held up to a bright light. Great Stafford record, modern soul at it's very best.. I'll put the repress on hold for you Rob as promised..
  13. James Wells "Baby I'm Still the Same Man" Barbara Pennington "24 hrs a day" Chuck Jackson "All over the World" Just listened to the JJ Barnes "I've seen the Light"..it's a really good tune..
  14. Reduced, one just sold in lesser condition for £275.
  15. Now reduced, great price for an in-demand 45!
  16. Duke and Leonard 'Just Do The Best You Can' very in-demand 45 on the aptly named Stomp Town label out of NYC. Ex with one small superficial mark, plays perfectly! £220 plus £5 postage from Sweden.
  17. Quality video or what!! As Andy said some brilliant stills, great voice over commentary and yes it's still a great 45!
  18. Absolute modern classic! I got one off Tim Brown a while back but think there's only a handful out there, the label print is identical to the 2nd press but is a slightly darker red. The vinyl though is heavier and opaque unlike the 2nd press which you can see through under a good light.
  19. I've got one of these, bought it at Thorne circa 1987. I knew it was rare but wasn't sure how scarce. Any idea on value for an Ex+ copy?
  20. Thanks John, it was a great event. I'll ask the other DJ's if they can post their sets on here. I know several have posted on facebook so it should be easy enough to transfer them to Soul Source. I haven't seen Arthur's yet but might have missed it..
