Never been to this part of Spain before but it was stunning and the drive over to Ronda on the A-366 was stunning , what a road . Shame I was driving a Punto. The other pics are of the Castillo de Colomares in Belalamadena , interesting history .

Not sure if that could be a hit Ste Tried it and doesn’t work at all for me . As a shuffler I can’t get trainers to do that job .. The only way to float and shuffle is good old leather . So it’s always been a nice pair of ox blood Comos or Brogues for me and always will . Shuffling on one foot in trainers is a recipe for a fall .

Got a few that I’ve thought about putting on a car but only put the newer repro ones on in the end . Did have my Cortina 1600E Car keys on the key ring at one point .... flip I wish I had that car now ... ended up in a ditch .

Sure can fella , Will just have to dig them out of the loft and take some pics ... They where used to make up a small display inside Wigan Pier’s “ They way we were “ historic exhibition. It all came to a standstill when developers wanted to turn the place into modern apartments . I tried to see if there was any chance the Council would consider some kind of lasting legacy to the Casino , but it all fell on stones ground. Maybe they could be persuaded otherwise if there was enough interest and the new library may be an option who knows . It’s so sort sighted of Wigan Council not to have recognised what they had and what they could have achieved in commemorating the casino. They did for a short time , in Wigan’s Heritage Centre at Wigan Pier .. I have the 18 display boards about the Casino that came out of that display when it finished ... and always thought it would be fitting to see them have a proper resting home back in Wigan ..I even contacted the council redevelopment office that was responsible and you know what ... they couldn’t really give a crap .. it’s all a distant memory for them and not a real happy one for most. Shame but maybe it’s just those of us that went or are still connected in some way with the music that wish there was some kind of fitting memorial . I for one would love to see it ... but maybe not like the Caven

Not sure if this has been done before, but as I’ve just seen a copy of one of my favs from my collection get listed on evilB thought I’d start a thread . What interesting, special vinyl do you have or remember ... when I say special/interesting , stuff like interactive LP covers - Motown Chartbusters Vol 7 .. which was the movable one arm bandit cover . What prompted this was I saw a copy of my Fat Boys “ Pizza Box “ edition listed for auction on line . Not Northern of course but great early Hip Hop ... with really interesting way to sell it . What do you have or remember ? Its one of the things I love about vinyl .

Not quite great pictures but just wanted to share pics of a couple of old school benches that work where throwing out ... ( they are slinging 15 of them away so I grabbed them all ) . Taken a while to do and I will deffo do a better job on the next ones I do , but these two are for a mates 60th down in Cornwall weekend after next .. Hope the surfs up and the weather stays fine as it’s two weeks as usual for six mates and families camping .
