We've always had people mentioning pop shite in the same breath as northern. It's nowt new. I remember over the years having arguments with people trying to associate stuff like Dexy's, Jo Boxers, Katrina & The Waves, Edwyn Collins and even that Weller effort with Northern Soul. It's not, it never was and it never will be. Simple!

To be honest I don't think that either promoter would even spare a second thought for the other. They have very different ideas about what should be played etc. I have been to both promoters events and there is virtually no crossover between them whatsoever, either in terms of attendees or music played.

I bought a copy on here a few months back because I remembered I'd sold it a while back. However, I'd actually sold my spare and so went and unwittingly bought another spare. I sold it (the spare) on here yesterday for under £200. A few years ago I had a white Sassy demo that I got off Andy Simpson. That WAS nice.

Anyone have any idea on the value of a set of UK TMG's from TMG501 to TMG900? Or where's best to sell them? I'm thinking of getting rid as I don't really play them anymore. I usually listen to Motown on the iPod or play album tracks at home Cheers Phil
