Talking About Jackie Edwards 45's
While we're on the topic of Jackie Edwards can anyone clear up weather or not Tell Me What It's All About got a 7" release or not? Play it off the Put Your Tears Away album on Island & Veep but never seen the supposed United Artists 7" copy.

The Prestatyn Soul Weekender Returns
Guessing by smelly dump you mean that rather strange aroma you got when you walked into the big Modern room but if you thought that was bad you should have gone in the radio room.... Yeah Conrad. Bring back Rob Wigley. Best person out there for introducing the live acts (no sign of nervousness) & without him there would not be a Soul event at Prestatyn. And while I'm here will there be any 2 berth accommodation offered as don't particularly want to share with someone having to rough it on a bed settee. Know Fish sorted something out a while back regarding offers for 2 berth chalets.

The Right To Reply
Have given Sam cd's in the past and he's copied them to vinyl so if he can't use a cd player how on earth does he manage to listen to them

The Right To Reply
Could someone please explain to me what the difference is between Colin Curtis playing a 7" track cut to a CD & Soul Sam playing a CD track carved to 7" vinyl?

What Are The Top 10 Most Expensive Uk Releases From T' 70's-80's?
Bet the labels are reversed too. Not 100% here but think Jimmy sold these direct around the clubs & were probably only around 500 pressed. Know a few people who got them this way from him. Noticed the colour too. Yours got a picture cover?

Would have thought that as it is a thread in ALL ABOUT THE SOUL on a site called Soul Source might have explained that

Missing You on Mojem by Jimmy James far rarer than Hey Girl & far better too IMO.

7" Record "bag" Holds 80 45's - Whaddya Think?
UDG trolleys are the Rolls Royce of record carriers. Just got to look how many House DJ's have stopped lugging heavy boxes around & started using the trolleys instead. Now that Magma have made a good quality 7" padded bag that fits over the handle of the trolley it's perfect for people like me & Brett who do the occasional weekender where we need both 12"/albums & also 7" singles. Also carry CD's in mine (Modden DJ allegedly LOL) & there is space for extra's like headphones, middles, cartridges, torch etc. As for the cost, just think for a minute of the value of the vinyl you are carrying & view it as insurance.

Gregory Porter - 1960 What?
Think some on here are missing the point. When it was released for record store day it was advertised as a 500 only limited release & that was it as were several other things & as far as I know none of them have been given a general release. It was also mentioned that it was being limited to 500 copy's as Montema / Tokyo Dawn & Expansion had agreed that amount to prevent damage to future sales (my guess is it was to be on the Togethernes 2012 album). Now as some have mentioned I also agree that it sells loads but why oh why lie to the collectors & tell us it was a limited release of 500. Goes against everything that Record Store Day stands for IMO so as I said earlier why not just give it a full release in the first place?
-
Gregory Porter - 1960 What?
Exactly Steve. Bought my numbered 12 like you as thought it was a nice collectors item & had already legally paid for the download then also bought the cd album. Expansion should know better. They are not 2nd issues but 4th issues. Download first, CD album 2nd, So called limited issue 3rd & then this. Expansion have sold the 12 under false pretences stating that there were only going to be 500. As for people buying it at the correct price they can buy the cd or download the track for a fraction of the price. Maybe Expansion should have given it a full release in the first place rather than misleading people with the so called collectors release.

Gregory Porter - 1960 What?
Sure some of you will have bought the recent release of the stunning Gregory Porter - 1960what limited release for record store day & were also lead to believe that there were only 500 hand numbered copy's. Actually bought a copy myself even though I had the cd release from a few months ago as I rather wrongly thought that there were only going to be 500 as stated by Richard Searling & Ralph Tee who own / run Expansion records. Also a few people have been paying up to 50 pounds a copy for what Expansion said was a limited release. Now look at this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GREGORY-PORTER-1960-What-Original-Mix-NEW-SOUL-R-B-12-VINYL-EXPANSION?item=160809007107&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D4%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8740312541290080718#ht_4281wt_944 An Expansion issue of said record. An explanation would be nice for the 500 cheated collectors who thought they were getting a limited release.

Are You Embarrassed By Your
And Mr Cunliffe people still come up to me & call me Ian Gee thanks And I'm marrying Cunnie's Honey (also on this site) later this year Now the username explanation. Have always been Cunnie on here & it dates back to when I used to write for Manifesto. Was chatting to Manifesto's editor Mike Ritson & he suggested a nickname for my column & I was listening to Cunnie Williams at the time so it sort of stuck. Sadly it's now't to do with me being able to lick my eyebrows (or other parts of my anatomy!) as some have said in the past Martin 'Cunnie' Dixon.

Bob Marley & The Wailing Wailers - I'm Still Waiting
Correct Tim. The edit/copy that I want is the fc 6909 one that you have stated above. Might be wrong here but there are several different takes of this & to the best of my knowledge the 6909 one is the only one of the edit I want. It is also the one in the youtube clip I posted way back in the first post & is also available on a Studio 1 album that has had several represses. It is also the copy that is on the popsike link below. 3 copy's are on popsike & I have posted the most expensive of this take. As far as I know all the other copy's on popsike are of the originally released take (I think!!!). https://www.popsike.com/BOB-MARLEY-THE-WAILERS-SKA-JERK-IM-STILL-WAITING/270766768827.html Thanks for all the help so far & 'I'm Still Waiting'

Bob Marley & The Wailing Wailers - I'm Still Waiting
Badly want this classic Soulful track by Bob & the Wailers (just listen if you don't think Bob Marley could sing Soul music). There are several different versions of this track by the Wailers & the one I want is the take on the youtube clip that I think was on a Studio 1 album but also on a 7" Studio 1 copy as well according to this clip & popsike. Would prefer the 7" cut but will settle for the album if I can't track down a 7" copy. Thanks in advance, Mart...

Top Album Only Tracks
This little gem from Betty Wright. Would have been a monster on the rare Soul scene with a 7" release but the format monkeys loss is our gain
