Soul What Is Your Prefered Genre
Good topic Bearsy & think we might get some interesting answers. Personally not got a prefered genre as such. Last thing I look at is the year a record was made. Couldn't care less if it was made in the 60s or last week. Still got boxes full of 60s Northern sat next to boxes full of Soulful House & loads of stuff inbetween. If I like it I buy it (if I can afford it).

Patrice Rushen
Just had a call from a mate & asked him who played this at CH & he said no one so I guess your'e right. Can remember me & an old mate playing it as a new release at Crookesmoor club in Sheffield in 1980. Sort of borrowed some speakers from a local parks bandstand & must have had the loudest sound system in Sheffield at the time until it went up in flames with me behind the decks. Great memories.

Great record Big Clifton Hall spin back in the early 80s. Getting a bit of a revived interest due to the Kirk Franklin sampling on Looking For You.

Original Uk 12" Singles For Sale
Stumbled on a box of 12" stuff a few weeks ago & there was a copy of Bourgie Bourgie mixed in with a few other nice bits. Cost me 40p each so was well pleased. If I was selling it though i'd be looking for more than £25. Have a look here on popsike. https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=bourgie+bourgie&x=28&y=11 Thing you really want to look for by Asford & Simpson is the 12" of One More Try. Seen e'm fetch £300+ Like cardsharpy says Pete, get e'm bought.
