Given that this record was reviewed as a new release in blues and soul back in the day,You would think it would pop up more often! The slow side is wonderfull.- News: HOF: Mike Terry - Pre Production Inductee

GREAT STUFF. I take it they just sold it local and that was it. Was there a follow up in the can?- Ishola Muhammad "open Up Your Heart" - 1976
reminds me of Clarence carters ' can I make it with you' future stars. Artist at serious odds to keep up with the pace of the backing track. very average.- Help With Some Invictus Copies
Seem to remember some hdh acetates on ebay about a year to two years ago. Some interesting items if I remember correct. alternate takes and supposedly unnisued stuff. Maybe a dozen in total. However one stuck out for me in that it was a group I had never come across before on any logo and it was excellent group harmony. Can anyone remember this and the name of the group, as I would love to have a link to this track. They sold for between roughly 40 to 300 usd .No funds at the time , so I did not bid. Just out of interest I am sure I have that laura lee 'barking up the wrong tree' on us ariola. Will try to find it. Andy- Biggest Nighter Tunes Of The Last Ten Years
I have to agree, had that precisions record from soul bowl back in the day ,it was four quid. It was musically inept then, and does not sound any better now. would that track got into a top ten in 1976, hardly there would have been a riot!. unfortunately I sold it before I was able to appreciate the slow side.- Innovation 2 Records - Full Label Listing
The plot thickens. There is another cut on the lp which has the same backing track as cindy & the playmates ' a portrait to gods love' on kemp and credited to s.nesbary . The record infact is almost identical and imo the best uptempo cut on the lp. Andy- Glenda Mcleod " No Stranger To Love" Hgei
Twenty seven years ago. Sorry folks, missed that of the end. Regards TED Best Andy Etheridge- Glenda Mcleod " No Stranger To Love" Hgei
A good friend of mine tried to track this down about two years after its release. All those in charlotte who he thought may give him a good lead told him the guy who put the thing out was not to be messed with and to stay well clear. With that in mind I would be suspicious of the second press having much to do with the guy who put it out in the first place. By the way Ted you sold it to me. Really don't mind you getting my name wrong as it must be about - 2001 Black Essence
